We rented the largest unit available - 3 bed and 3 bath on the ground floor. It’s a unit we have been in a number of times through the years - however the unit seems to have changed hands since our last stay. Not very clean or well maintained. I spent time dusting cobwebs, tightening loose handles on the glass shower door, and adding extension cords to lamps so they can be plugged in to function. Door handles and hinges squeal ( waking others), stove light was burned out, there were patched holes in drywall but not painted, dirty air vent covers everywhere, a vacuum that spewed more sand than it sucked, a 3 ft broom only a midget could use, and a massive crater in the crumbling parking lot. The Area rugs under the bed were a tripping hazard. Won’t be back - facility didn’t feel clean or maintained. Left the office a detailed list in hopes the next guest will have a clean unit worthy of the rate.

Was at Moonspinners May 14- May 18. We have stayed here many times but this was the worst stay by far. A total waste of time and money.Very noisy construction everyday we were there. The construction crew kept the handicap parking blocked 24hrs a day. We stayed in 408b I think, and you could tell the pool was green from our balcony. They closed the pool until further notice on May 17. I'm in my 70's and don't have money to burn but I feel like that's what I did. I will never never go back to Moonspinners and suggest you look around before you book there.

Spectacular view. Very clean room. Convenient commute to several supermarkets and right next to a state park!If it weren’t for the early morning jackhammers in the penthouse suites on the top floor, this would’ve been a 5 star review. I should have been compensated somehow for this because it was an absolute headache.

We have been staying at the Moonspinner since the early 80s. We enjoy the quietness of its location and the proximity to our favorite bars and restaurants.

My family loves the Moonspinner, we have been coming here for over 30 years. Recently my family had a reservation planned well in advance for July 2023. Rental agreement was booked through the Moonspinner directly and paid in full. One month before our stay we were noticed that had been undercharged, that the office staff had made a mistake when quoting our price for our week long stay, and that an additional 1700 dollars was owed before our arrival. When questioned we were told to refer to our rental agreement, and that prices are subject to change without notice. That is understandable, yet tacky and greedy to ask for MORE money after the stay was paid in full. The error was clearly on the Moonspinner staff. Renters BEWARE.

A very unexpected and quite fantastic vacation down there in Panama City, FL. Made a massive contract from my life in NYC. The thing I loved apart from the sun sand and beaches was the amount of walks and places you could find on foot. I have to say that given my concerns over pollution I was extremely happy to find this place clean and just wonderful.

Nice location if you like the quieter area of Panama City Beach. I prefer the east side of PCB. Really close to St Andrews State Park. Interesting ships go by.

Unit 107b was nasty and out dated we’ve ever stayed in. Checked in July 23 2022 and spoke with manger she said she checked it after it was cleaned Dust was built up on all ceiling fans and light over the table. Floor was not swept couch was stained and wet blinds were broken and missing parts no privacy at all. Cracks in the sheet rock. On the patio was a lot of old and stinking toys floats and buckets from past rental. Hasn’t been cleaned and no where to place our beach stuff it was over flowing. Coffee maker burner was rusted out and dangerous oven didn’t work properly couldn’t bake biscuits washing machine timer didn’t work right had to keep reset it. This had to be complained about befor us. These things didn’t just happen over night. But management refused to refund any cleaning fees well they gave 105.00 said they had to pay help lol. Cost us 3800 for the week and we had to clean unit to use it. No understanding at all from Victoria the manger. She said it was good. Blaming the owner. Mops broken and she left one at the door. Maintenance came by to measure couch for a cover just a cover. We a party of 13 counting kids are now getting over strep throat and upper respiratory infection. All of us. Check the air handler in this unit and see why. No one has reached out to us. Owner should be told if they don’t know. We book with them last year and they increased cost over 800.00 in January. For repair lol. We’ve been staying atMoon spinner over 18 years and never had such a nasty run down unit. 107B should be inspected and manger should be replaced. At least learn how to talk instead of text. Poor manger.

My family and I spent 7 days here in condo 204. The condo was very nice and spacious so we slept comfortably. One issue I discovered the day we arrived were multiple dirty dishes in the cabinet. I notified the front desk staff and was asked to email the office manager which I did as well as attach photos and never received a response. Another issue is the fact people are allowed to set up beach chairs and umbrellas in front of the beach chairs provided by the resort. Most places I have stayed does not allow this. Other than that this is not a terrible place to stayUpdate: The office manager responded to my follow up email. Apparently they were out of office the day I sent the original. They were very polite and helpful.

There were hairs in our bathtub when we arrived. An old nasty toilet brush in both bathrooms. The construction going on made it unsafe access to the beach and the front desk person, Marcy, told me, “you have the whole gulf”, when I asked about the pool being closed for our 3 small children. I thought maybe she was having a bad day but have since met 2 other families with the same experience from her. Horrible face for your front desk Moonspinner. Very disappointed after coming here for over 30 years.

We just checked in. Bathroom door knob fell off on first use. Two towels for 6 people. Fingerprints on all surfaces. Overall the room is not very clean. We drove 12 hours, paid over 2000, to have them tell us the pool closes at 11 on Memorial weekend. Place is a joke and waste of money. Book at the Aqua!

We received a email a week before coming down here that building A would be under construction. So we thought it will be ok we are in building B won’t bother us to much. Wrong! All of the condos are under construction, Jack hammers, pool closed, a maze just to walk to the beach. A lady’s back window has been knocked out with material flying off the condo. Spoke to front desk they said we are welcome to leave anytime. It’s a shame spending so much money for a relaxing vacation and all you hear are Jack hammers. Will not be coming back ! The condos are very outdated

Stayed in one of the two-story condos two bedrooms two and a half baths. Everything was clean and the amenities were plentiful. Have been staying there since 2016 and planning on going there next week. A different unit still two bedrooms can't wait to be on vacation! I hope the weather clears up as well as the riptides!

Quick 4 day visit with the grandkids. The condo was very comfy and except for towel, we only got 2 for 6 people, the place was great. The office promptly brought up 4 more towels. Luggage carriers were the best surprise to get everything up in one trip! Hope to return many times.
