I love Panhandle Credit Union. They know me by name and treat me with respect. I am on a fixed income and sometime run short. That doesn't matter to them, they still take care of me and treat me with respect. Mary Richards I bank at the East Side Branch on 11 street!

I would have given them no stars if that option was available. Horrible, Horrible customer service. I had a vehicle financed through panhandle with the promise after one year of on time payments they would lower my interest rates. After 18 months I called to request my interest rate to be lowered, as promised. The individual on the phone said I don't know who told you that but, that's not true. All payments were made through automatic deductions, so I was never late. I went to another bank borrowed the money (at a lower interest) and paid off Panhandle. My mother and brother have left them for other reasons. The tellers seem very unhappy and never even speak to you at the intown and beach location.

What bank doesn't have an ATM that you can access while they're closed? The answer is this bank I have never encountered a bank without an ATM

This credit union is very small town. No one answers the phone when you call - you leave a message and hope they call you back before your lunch break is over. Cross your fingers that you don't need them to work for you if "Mary" is out of town. Apparently her whole department shuts down for a week if she's gone. Again, it's leave a message and wait for someone to call you back, sometimes a week later. Their online banking site doesn't allow you to make a loan payment, either. They do accept payments over the phone though! Oh, wait...
