I may change this review in the future but for now it’s stays at one star. I am moving to the palmetto/parrish area relatively soon. I wanted to get my pet groom so that she can be clean before arrival at her new home I was recommended this place by my girlfriend. I have called multiple times haven’t been able to leave a voicemail, I will call the store side that does not know anything about the spa side so I can’t asked them question about services or appointments at all. The store side at least has the courtesy of taking down my information but I have yet to receive a call back at all. I was told that the spa side can’t always get to the phone due to working on other pets which is understandable but then GET A DEDICATED SCHEDULER if it’s that busy. I am trying to become a customer and I can’t even become one because no one will pick up the phone or call back which is unprofessional.

Update: 04/29/24. Owner Rachel as always, delightfully pleasant. They still have the best Prices & Services. I've been going since they opened roughly 9yrs ago. Bree was very helpful as always too. Kudos!Asked to hold 2 bags of dog and 1 bag of cat food, mainly due to my dogs brand food generally sells out quick. When I first moved to area had requested they carry this brand name. They ordered for me right away, and then started carrying regularly. I was also wanting to take advantage of coupon I had. Wasn't sure if I'd get off work in time today. Bags were put back as I asked. Greeting as soon as I entered, as always, and a thank you for bringing cart back. Good service. TY!

HORRIBLE TREATMENT: It's so sad that I have to write this. First off, I called and left a message to schedule an appointment two days ago and no call back. So, I decided to stop in to make an appointment, only to be drilled with loads of questions about my pet. Then after the interrogation, I was told to bring my pet in the middle of the day, unfortunately as a Teacher I don't have that flexibility. I requested an afternoon/evening or Saturday appointment only to be told that Saturdays was reserved for "PREFERRED" clients. I was then told the other groomer could do it, but they would have to call me back. I get the feeling they did not want my business; I would take a pet bug into this place. If I was treated this way can't imagine how they would treat my pet.STAY AWAY if you want to feel like human being when you leave.

After losing my older, bonded dog my younger one stopped eating their food they had together. Leo & Luckys staff was so helpful finding us a new food he liked and would eat. Wonderful, knowledgeable and find staff

I had high hopes for Leo & Lucky's Pet Grooming, but unfortunately, my experience has been nothing short of disappointing. I scheduled an appointment with their pet grooming department a month in advance, hoping to give my furry friend the pampering they deserve. However, what followed was a series of unprofessional mishaps that left me frustrated and disillusioned with their service. Initially, I received a call informing me of a time change. They pushed the appointment back an hour, from 7:30 to 8:30, citing that the groomer had to take their dog to the vet that morning and would be a little late. The real frustration began on the day of the rescheduled appointment. I arrived promptly at 8:30, only to be greeted with the news that the groomer's car had broken down, and they would be late or might not come in at all. Consequently, I was informed that I would have to reschedule once again. This last-minute cancellation due to their unreliable transportation is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the professionalism of Leo & Lucky's Pet Grooming. As a pet owner who values punctuality and reliability, I am deeply disappointed by the lack of accountability demonstrated by Leo & Lucky's Pet Grooming. It's clear that they need to improve their management of appointments and ensure that they have contingency plans in place for situations like this. It's time for me to seek out a more dependable groomer who can provide the consistent service my pet deserves and you should do the same. In conclusion, I cannot recommend Leo & Lucky's Pet Grooming to fellow pet owners based on my experience. Their unreliability and poor communication have left me feeling let down and inconvenienced. It's essential for businesses in the service industry to uphold their commitments to their customers, and unfortunately, Leo & Lucky's has fallen short in this regard.

I hate to do a negative review but we have a Labradoodle who is 13. She has been being groomed at Leo & Lucky's for a few years. Unfortunately the lady who always took care of Molly left so we have had someone new doing her. Molly had a sore on her ear so the groomer wanted a note from the vet that it was ok to groom her. We took her to the vet and got a note. Dropped her off for her appointment and when we picked her up the groomer told us Molly was to old now for them to groom. He last grooming was horrible. The lady called and said her tail was matted so they had to shave it. The lady never did her ears, ( Doodles need the hair in their ears removed) She did not do all her nails. One nail actually became infected another trip to the vet. I just don't get how a place that does grooming can do a poor job on the dog and then tell you she is to old. Molly is the most gentle and agreeable dog ever.

Very friendly and accommodating staff. Very good variety of food, services, and accessories. How many pet stores you go to with half baked staff just standing behind registers. Folks here engage with you and are knowledgeable. Been shopping here for 3 years.

1st time having my toy breed dogs groomed here (Excellent Groomers with 5 star service) my girls haircuts were exactly as I requested! I highly recommend Leo & Lucky’s!

Horrible grooming service. First time scissor cut all uneven. Said she was an easy groom but didn't want to overdo it. Look at photo #1 how long and uneven AFTER grooming. Second time they canceled at arrival, due to being short staffed and running behind...used excuse that she had been spayed 8 weeks prior even though my Vet cleared her for grooming the day before! Look at photo of her belly the day she was refused. Third time razor cut, head, ears, tail untouched, leg fur all uneven. Small dog grooming not Amber's forte! Look at photo #3 after grooming and paying extra for "face clean up", choppy job.
