It’s a great place to work out. Just wish the employees would answer the phones or at least follow through with sending out the free day gym passes. I’ve tried to get many people to join and because they don’t send out the free day pass or answer the phone when people call to get the free day pass. people have chosen not to join.

Hello, on December 22, I went to the Pembroke Pines and University gym with my daughter and when I got to the door I couldn't get in and the gym had 3 representatives who work in the gym and I signaled to one of the guys who couldn't get in He never wanted to come and see what was happening to me, he made signs to me to open the door with the app since I joined the gym, every time I go to the gym I go with my children who have the app and the app doesn't work for them. Being able to enter the gym is not just for us that doesn't work, we have friends who go and the app doesn't work, there are also always people who come and go constantly. When the boy comes to the door with an attitude and tells me to open the door with the app I tell him that I don't have it installed and that it doesn't work and he tells me that until I download it he won't let me enter the gym and He stands at the door of the gym to not let me in and I tell him that I pay for a membership and since he is not going to let me in and obviously due to this lack of respect from him towards me I tell him that I am not going to download the app and He answers me that he is going to cancel my membership and he tells me that several times and it still seems like a lack of respect and I tell him that I am not going to talk to him anymore and they tell me that there are many people going to the gym without a membership and that was a lot. worse for me because it was an insult the way he said things to me was like racist I am black Latina and from the beginning he treated me like a thief and it seems to me a lack of professional ethics that a representative of the institution speaks to him So to a client in that way, he is a man and I am a woman. I have been paying the membership for 10 months and I don't go if I have been to the gym 7 times, I think that is a lot and you can see that and you should teach your workers to respect the clients and even more so if they are older than them, I felt very bad and so did my daughter who is 16 years old seeing a man treating her mother badly, very unprofessional. and the worst thing was seeing two people enter without opening the door with the app and they didn't say anything

Went in after 9 with a mate that has a guest pass (first time going to Amped). One of the staff members was very rude and acted liked i was trying to the rob the place. " I aint playing today" i was told... someone gotta remind bro he doesnt make commission. This place should train their employees better :)

They charge everyone different club fees, and membership amounts. I pay $45 dollars a year in club fees. My sister only paid 20? This gym is also constantly dirty, and regularly out of commission. I have gotten sick here, the floor is dusty, machines stay broken and out of commission a long time. Open path which is supposed to give 24 hr access doesn’t work to unlock door. They over sold the gym so parking is not convenient you have to walk from very far away. PRICING IS NOT TRANSPARENT THEY’RE SCAMMY!

If I could give this amped negative stars I would. Always closing like it isn't a 24/7 establishment. No updates on maps whenever there's a schedule change. They doing too much

I would just like to preface this review by saying I don’t make it a habit to tear businesses down, nor am I someone who writes a lot of reviews (positive or negative). However, I felt compelled to write this one to warn anyone interested in becoming a member. The gym itself looks like it is falling apart. I am concerned about sanitation as there are no paper towels to wipe down equipment, only dirty rags. I walked in one day and said good morning to a young lady at the front desk and she just stared at me with a nasty look on her face and did not reply. Employees here seem more concerned into scamming new members into personal training contracts. Please be aware that these contracts are usually 12 months long and require a $250 cancellation fee to cancel. Honestly the only benefit to this gym is the whole 24 hours thing, but if you care about your health and money I would pick somewhere else. Also a lot of these 5 star reviews are bots.

Great gym! Beautiful atmosphere and great people. I love all of the classes they offer especially Ax3 classes. Marcus the training manager has amazing energy and is very knowledgeable. I finally have muscle showing in my arms and Im so happy ??Tell him I sent you and believe me you wont be disappointed.

The level of customer service at Amped Fitness is extremely low. I visited here as a guest on October 30, 2023, at 7:30 p.m. to look over the amenities. But when it was time for me to depart, I was informed that my driver's license was locked in a room and I was unable to locate it. I was not aware that visitors were expected to vacate by 9:00 p.m. The front desk manager, Jasmine, was quite unpleasant and said she couldn't do anything when I spoke with her. It should be possible to get staff at this gym around-the-clock. Not only is this an annoyance, but it also poses a risk because neither I nor your unattended customers are free to leave.

Amazing gym 10/10 recommend for any new and comfortable gym practitioner. Price is amazing and equipment is endless. Also have a water bed for smooth recovery and as well as a message gun team, known as revamps. Trainers are by far all great and haven’t let me down. This is where you want to he believe me

I am livid! For the past couple of days, Amped Fitness has completely failed to provide hot water in the showers. Do you know how infuriating it is to finish an intense workout and step into a shower that feels like the Arctic Ocean? I am paying top dollar for a membership here, and I can't even get a basic amenity like hot water. This is beyond ridiculous!I've spoken to the management, and their lack of urgency to fix this issue is appalling. What are we paying for if not for a functioning facility? Cold showers are not just an inconvenience; they're a slap in the face to every paying member. This is an embarrassment for any gym, let alone one that claims to offer a 'premium' experience.I am beyond frustrated and am seriously considering canceling my membership. If this issue isn't resolved immediately, you can be sure I'll be taking my business elsewhere and encouraging everyone I know to do the same. You've lost the trust and respect of your members, and it's going to take a lot more than an apology to earn it back.

Nice looking gym but all the staff cares about is selling you personal trainer packages and then not explaining things right . They sell you dreams and make it look like it’s a great price and at the end of the day you end up paying more than what supposedly it was. All they care about is making commission . They also are very insistent, they won’t stop until they’ve sold you the damn personal trainer package . They don’t even show you the contract you’re signing which is honestly very illegal . Look wise gym is 8/10 , staff wise 2/10 .

I am extremely disappointed with this gym. Despite being out of town and providing valid reasons, they outright refused to cancel my membership. Their customer service was unhelpful and unsympathetic, showing no understanding or consideration for my situation. It's incredibly frustrating to deal with such inflexibility, and I strongly advise against joining this gym if you value customer care and flexibility. Find a gym that respects its members' needs and circumstances.

The gym is open 24 hours. To get in the gym once the staff leaves, you have to use an app on your phone called open path. This app never worked for me as well as numerous people. As a result, I would stand outside trying to login and having the access denied numerous times. When people opened the door to leave, I would try to get in but they told me that they could not let me in because the camera is watching them and they would be fined if they let me in.I called customer service numerous times to resolve the issue. I never got a person on the phone and the phone always made the busy noise.I go to a gym now that is not open 24 hours. With that said, at least I can get in this gym, workout, and speak to the staff when an issue needs to be resolved.
