Imagine that you order an item online that shows as available, so you proceed with the purchase... you get confirmation and you show up to pick up an item you've paid for only to find out after 30 minutes of driving and about 30 minutes waiting that its actually not available. Why show something available when its obviously not? And when they cancel the order we'll have to wait for the "hold" to be released..... not cool best buy.... not cool. I've been loyal to you guys for years but I'm afraid Amazon, and Costco will get my business now.

This review is me holding Best Buy guilty by association with Citibank. I bought a TV with 0% interest at Best Buy. I make my payments on the exact day I receive my statement every month. On the day I received my March 28th statement, I paid my monthly $200 towards the bill. At the end of April as I was waiting for my next statement, I checked to see if it arrived, and I saw that I received a late fee on April 22nd of $27. I immediately called, and the automated response from Citi was that they would credit my account for $27 on either this billing cycle or the next. I wanted to know why I received a late fee when I paid my bill the day I received my statement. I have never had a late payment on any bills my whole life, and didn't want this to affect my credit score, as I attempt to buy a house. All anybody at Citibank would tell me is that my payment applied to February's statement because the statement hadn't closed yet. I said that's ridiculous, my online account with Best Buy said my bill was due, and so I paid. My advice to anyone shopping with Best Buy is be very careful of Citibank, and be very careful taking a credit card with 0% interest for a period of time. Citibank would not admit that I was given a late fee in error even though she said my account clearly shows that I make the same payment every month right when I receive my bill. I don't just want the courtesy credit towards my bill of $27. I want someone to undue my account showing that I had a late fee. Citibank wouldn't do that. Won't be shopping at Best Buy or with Citi on a 0% interest deal again. I hope this saves someone else trouble.

By far my favorite Best Buy to come to when I need to return something since most other locations are very fickle and rude. The management staff are patient and understanding of real life circumstances when making specific returns. Not to mention their store is also very organized and up to date with all the latest trends.

Let me start by stating emphatically that I wish for nothing less than the total downfall of BUST BUY, a piece of sh**, sleezy company that, in lacking competition, has trampled on the very notion of customer service. The "GEEK SQUAD" SUUUUUCCCKKKSSS!!!!! The service sucks! The stores suck! The policies are corrupt and thieving. I called for an appointment to fix my microwave and was told it would be 10 f---ing days before the repair appointment. Well, after those ten grueling days, the guys comes today and, low and behold, crappy BB fails to surprise in the tech discovering they'd sent him the wrong parts, and that it would be another 11 FUCKING days before another appointment. I called the slimebag company and was smuggly informed by the, no doubt, inbred asshole on the phone, that they would not replace the microwave and that I would just have to wait. To say that I deserve the biggest award for rage containment would be the understatement of the history of mankind. My single hope is that a COMPETENT company comes to surface and wipes Bust Buy out of existence. Anyone who values their money, their dignity, their sanity, and their non-interest in winding up in jail for something they can't control doing, AVOID BUST BUY at all costs!

Third time in a row I call and am on hold for 25 min, long enough to go to the store and walk directly to the phone i'm on hold with while an employee stands around watching the phone ring. Amateur and unprofessional, worst customer care anywhere. Truly they don't care for their customers. Amazon gets my money from now on.

Over the years I've been very satisfied with the quality of people at Best Buy when I make my purchases. I have bought kitchen appliances, TVs, computers, washing machines, epson printers. Sometimes I might have to wait a little bit for the proper person to best inform me but that's just fine and it's always been a pleasant experience. I personally have found all the people respectful and very helpful. Gilbert Hall

I have only ever done Black Friday once, for a worthy cause. My husband somehow had me out, not standing in line. But picking up an item he already ordered. We went around 3 pm and it was a lot of traffic trying to get out with a few people trying to get in. There was no one in the store pick up line when we got there so we were helped very quickly. Kudos to all of them who pulled through helping that customer service line.

Horrible customer service. Waited on the phone for the 30 minutes with no answer. Every time I I come here I have issues

I've been spending thousands here for a while, lol... never had a problem, the employees are always ready to help and they always have the latest. Environment is cleaned and organized and the reward program is pretty cool. Only thing is it's really crowded and nowhere to park on holidays.... but you can always park a little farther down next to party city, they don't mind.

So, myself and three other people arrive at Best Buy at 9:57am, in a tropical storm, on Monday, September 3rd, not realizing that the store opened at 10am. When the employee, Serge, (I think he's security) unlocks the door and I mention to him that he could've at least allowed us to come inside and stand into the vestibule and wait, instead of making us stand outside getting wet, he chose to respond inappropriately and make light of my legitimate complaint. His response was " you know what time Best Buy opens, right", to which I respond, "No obviously not". He then responds, " Well google it". REALLY??? Again, he was highly inappropriate and RUDE. That was horrible customer service. On a better note, the employee who helped me with my headphone purchase was professional and very pleasant. Thank you Jasmine.

ANSWER THE DAMN PHONE!!!!! second time I've tried to call this location and never got through to anyone for over 30 mins of listening to terrible hold music. Each time was for different reasons so different lines, but apparently it doesn't matter which line you try to get through, no one is ever going to answer you on the other end.

Very conveniently located on Pines Blvd near the mall. Ive,been here several times lately for 1 appliance. The staff always welcome you when coming in. I like that they have security. The appliances are actually sold by a company called Pacific Kitchen & Home. Pacific does a great job at keeping their prices as low as competitors both online and other stores. Right now until July 11th Bosch and Maytag dushwashers come with free delivery and free installation. If you go, ask for Francesca. She is the nicest and most helpful representative anyone could ever ask for.

I needed a way to connect an old computer to a smart TV. One of their staff took the time to take me where the connections were and showed me which one I needed and how to use it. I always impressed with his knowledge. Check out was fast. I suggest using a GPS to locate because it is not easy to see from the street.

Best Buy has certainly declined over the years. It used to be hard NOT to find help, not anymore. I walked around this store on multiple occasions without ever being greeted by anyone in the store. I'll continue to shop here but I certainly won't expect any customer service.
**Update and reason I removed a star.
I came in a handful of times since my first review and got the same nonexistent service. This time was kinda the final straw as this time, I needed assistance. I can't rightly grab a washing machine and carry it to the register... nothing. It was 1030am and nothing. The store wasn't busy... no help. No customer service. I decided to walk around the store and look at EVERYTHING. 5 laps I made! Nothing. Not even a "hey" from loss prevention. Fine, I left. I decided I had to talk to someone. After all, my first job was at Best Buy... I called the store and waited for 15 mins before hanging up. Not 15 mins to talk to a manager, 15 minutes of a ringing phone. Nobody answered! I quit. Good luck Best Buy, you're dead to me.
***Update*** Going to buy a laptop today....NOT at this terrible Best Buy
April 2018 by Fausto Pestana
The sales associate was excellent in helping me choose my appliance. I got it delivered on Monday and there was a part I didn't need and they said they were going to give me a credit. 5 days later, I am still waiting for the credit. This is why I might not shop here next time. They need not hold up parts of the transaction thus they will get better ratings.

Love Best Buy but not the store at Tower Shops in Davie. People there just seem less experienced than those at the other few locations. I do like Best Buy in general now that they will match prices with big name stores and even major online retailers like Amazon. I'd give more stars if they had more experienced salespeople working there.

I'm not a huge fan of Best Buy but I needed a laptop so why not go to the techist place of them all. The store in Pembroke Pines seems to have good customer service and knowledgeable staff. Of course he needed to explain the Microsoft plan several times because it seemed as though he was contradicting himself a few times. Other then that he gave good recommendations.

What can I possibly say about Best Buy that you do not already know? This location is near Pines and Hiatus, so it is fairly conveniently located. It has a large parking lot, but that can easily get filled during prime times. There is a Magnolia inside, but not a music shop as some locations have (or used to have). The staff is friendly enough once you get a hold of someone. The computer area always seems to be understaffed, which is only an issue if you are trying to buy some locked merchandise. The customer service section can have a line at times, but flows pretty easily. The cash registers are the same. The nice thing is that I am usually buying from electronics or computers, and those departments can check you out. There is a Geek Squad here, but I have not used it. The security is friendly and efficient. THat's all I got. If you are looking for a standard Best Buy experience, this Pines location will be your jam. It is a large store with pretty much everything in stock most of the time.

First appointment of the day for an iPhone screen repair. It's supposed to be same day service. Three hours later it was still untouched. They were nice about it but why make an appointment, why give a time estimate for repair, why even bother going to Best Buy? If you've got the time to drop it off for a day or two go for it. If you ha e more important things to do... do yourself a favor... just go to the Apple store for the repair or a small business that actually cares about the customer experience.

If I didn't have to mark a star I would. I don't usually write reviews but i had to write a review, beyond horrible. Customer services garbage, where in the hell did they find such horrible people to work for the company. I been on the phone for 1 full hour and when I would hang out and recall they didn't bother to pick up and speak but placed me on hold for another hour. This is completely unacceptable, and changes need to be made. Instead of answering the phone like a normal human and then letting me know they are going to place me on hold. Literally worst best buy ever. Then i go into the store wanting to purchase a laptop and no one cares to help you. My suggestion is if your so miserable at work and don't want to help customers who enter the store find another lazy ass job that fits your personality. Quit your job and don't make other customers leaving the store angry. I will never ever shop from this best buy ever again I will do that extra drive to Aventura to have better customer Services from employees who actually want to help.

Yesterday I went shopping with my son and daughter because my son needed a pair of new headphones and also wanted another Xbox controller. Best Buy is high on our list to buy electronics as a family because our experiences have been great ones so far. I always find what I'm looking for here. The prices are reasonable and the staff seems knowledgeable and willing to help. My son did his research and price comparisons before we visited the store so he knew exactly what he wanted. These are the same pair of headphones he bought a month earlier for his younger brother that he paid $5 more. So he was happy to get them on sale. We got the headphones and the Xbox controller in white like he wanted. I also had to exchange my phone case which was an easy process because I had my receipt with me. The only down side to my shopping experiences here are the long checkout lines on the weekend, (which is to be expected), that's why I make it a point to visit during the weekdays during the early afternoons.

Made what I wanted to be a quick stop at Best Buy to get a couple of adapters for my new Mac (thanks Apple) and while I tried to make it quick in and out, This particular Best Buy location didn't help. Located in a busy area, right in front of the Pembroke Lakes Mall, this Best Buy is always busy. Luckily they have enough parking to accommodate all their customers most of the time. The store is organized well and there's a lot of reps to help customers who have questions. Since I've been there before and knew my way around, I didn't have any (which might have contributed to me being there longer even though is not suppose to). I just wanted to get my adapters and be on my way home. First, the store is busy with a lot of employees and a lot of customers. It's a big plaza, in an even busier intersection. Which leads me to my main complain about the visit. If we all know there's a lot of traffic at this particular store, why only have two cashiers manning the main registers? There were easy over a hundred customers in the store. As a business, the checkout process should be the most streamlined of all the processes because that's when you're getting a commitment from your client. The whole point of having so many reps helping on the floor, guiding, advising, and pushing a sell is to get the customer to commit to buying. I understand most of the reps have stations throughout the store they can use to checkout the customer, but your main checkout area should have a bit more than two agents helping. Other than that it was a smooth experience (which was what I wanted to begin with). Hopefully this will be addressed and more cashiers simultaneously to speed up the process!

Asked for help with printers, an associate said he'd send someone over to help. 15 minutes later, still no one comes by, but there are plenty of other Best Buy employees loitering nearby. We stupidly assumed he was sending a knowledgable person to us, but in reality, he probably never did anything. Incidentally, a manager was at the register overseeing training of a cashier. When we voiced our concern, she gave a rote apology and launched into an HP printer ink pitch. Thanks, but I already read about your ink program while waiting for help earlier. Next time I'll just give Amazon my business.

I bought a carpet cleaning machine from here. I had some difficulty with it. I brought it in and AMR in the...I believe he works in appliances helped me. He was so professional and truly cared about the issue I was having. He took about 15 minutes to address my issue. He added water to the container and tested it for me. He tried the demo. model to see if that one had the same issue. This guy takes pride in his work. He is the star of this store and deserves to be recognised. I really appreciate his dedication to his job. I still had to return the item, unfortunately. But AMR tried his best, even looking up a video online. He is great.

This review is for Apple scheduled service by the GEEK SQUAD. I went online to schedule a Genius Bar appointment for my iPhone and was surprised that Best Buy was now available for appointments. Seeing that this location was much closer to me than the closest Apple Store I decided to give it a try. BIG MISTAKE! Although I had an appointment I had to wait for the resident Geek to finish with another customer. There only seemed to be one person handling inquries at the register for some reason. I explained the battery issue with my phone and that I had Apple Care. The Geek then told me that they did not have the parts in stock which I said was not a problem. However, he said that I would have to leave my phone with them in order for them to order the parts. I explained that I need my phone for work so I would be happy to come back when the parts came in. He said I had to leave my phone or else he couldn't help me. WHAT? I tried to reason that it is extremely unreasonable to ask for someone to leave their phone for 2 days or more for a repair when the Apple Store has repaired or replaced my phone on the spot in prior experiences. He said "well we're not the Apple Store". Nope, you sure aren't. Next time I'll stick to the real Geniuses at Apple. DO NOT GO TO BEST BUY for iPhone service. The GEEKS suck. Best Buy selling Apple products reeked of desperation not to go bankrupt. I hate to say that the crappy service they provide does not come close to Apple standards and will probably hasten the eventual closing of Best Buy. I won't miss you Geek Squad!
