Oh, and forgot to mention, half of the locks in the bathroom do not wirk, and it's happened morr than multiple times where a kid trying to find an available stall accidentally opens your door. Let me reiterate, this is NOT a rare occurance. This happens more than daily. These are full door bathrooms), and toilet paper is not regularly stocked, and is always out. We just lost soap recently too. And 3rd floor dryers do not work, no paper towels either. Toilets commonly also leak water onto the floor, meaning, to use the facilities, you have to step in dirty toilet water (a puddle) bathrooms are also full of graffiti as well. Events, 90% of them are cancelled, and are excessively expensive. Sports, I don't even think we have a team. Vending machines at the cafeteria? Don't be dazzled by them. They are almost never stocked. Don't come here. Don't be dazzled by the big building, it is a terrible school with terrible policies and terrible staff. Just letting you know I have to keep amending this because I keep remembering more terrible things in this "school"

Investigate the Islamophobic teacher that stepped on a childs hand while praying. This is not a good look for you guys. She is supposed to be an educator but was never educated herself. SHAMEFUL

If I could give it no stars because even one star is giving them credit. They need to investigate the teachers here, the fact that one teacher interrupts children mid-prayer is so disrespectful. But to also step on a child's hand this teacher needs to be fired and put in jail.

beware of Ms. Vazquez A. Principal she only cares about her daughters and puts FIRST Staff children, first in raw for staff who Childrens are there. Manipulates ALL people around her AND Bullies Teachers who see her true essence. I am a fully accredited teacher that speaks the truth about what I saw. Full Nepotism at its Best, she is the one who should be REMOVED. the all her sheep following just to get a paycheck.

I am so disappointed in this school, In the start of the year, they decide that we can't use phone no more in class which I understand due to people taking pics , but why can't we use our phones in advisory. Plus the school lunch is trash. Not only that, this school ain't valid. If yall want to be valid, like be a little more open on the rules and maybe make this school add football as an extra activity. I want to know why are yall so strict, is it a state, broward, or this school policy.Edit: what does middle school have to do with us high schoolers.

Our family has been with Franklin-Academy Pembroke Pines K-12 since the doors opened years ago. Although it’s a 30 minute drive to this campus every day, I wouldn’t change a thing. We have had 1 son graduate in 2020 (2nd graduating class from Franklin) and another son will be graduating in 2024. Mrs. Showalter is an Amazing Principal and the teachers & staff have been wonderful throughout the years. Yes, just like any other school in Broward County they have had teachers come and go and there have been bumps in the road since the school opened their doors but overall they have come a long way. The security at the school is top notch, thanks to the head security Christopher Carnaggie. I know school just started 2 days ago for the 22/23 school year but this has been the best drop off & pick up lines since the school opened so thank you to all of the staff members that are at the school bright & early to make this happen. Keep up the Great job of making this school the BEST, it definitely shows. Much Love, The Patalano Family ❤️

The experience we have had this year has been amazing! It is all because of the incredible teachers in this school. I know my child can be challenging as I have experienced the challenge first-hand. The challenge usually comes from a lack of inspiration. This year has been an exception and, again, I credit all the wonderful teachers. They go above and beyond and inspire my child and his classmates! They have shown personal concern and care. They have been excellent communicators. I think most importantly, they have offered their teaching with levity, interaction, clear expectations, thorough reviews, excellent direction, and with the belief that their students can rise to the occasion.

Lack of security, constant fighting and and student threatts, as well racial slursAs well education system I would rate them a D- for the lack of interest that they have of students and you don't have to be a good student there to pass a grade because everyone apparently passes even if you don't do your work..Franklin Academy is more a detention center than an educational institution.

Ehhhhh! I’ll admit the first two weeks of school were a nightmare. Granted it’s gotten a lot better in the pick up line after school. However, staff and the teachers all seem very overwhelmed. I have two daughters in their k-8th grade, while my daughters love it here. I am still adjusting to everything. Very friendly staff in the front desk. They have worked with my considerably, I can’t really complain. Except for the fact, they do TOO MUCH multitasking in there, it’s hard to get their undivided attention. I will be keeping my daughters here. I pray it all works out until their high school years. Academically, they have what it takes to help a child achieve high goals. I PERSONALLY LOVE, the closed campus & security here. There are children from all over Broward. However I’ve seen lots of misbehaved kids ): unfortunately. I hope they get the help they need at home. Teachers are great, and perfect for my daughters. Who help spot an issue going on, quiet FAST.Edit 2022: I have moved my oldest out of their school and placed her in a public school. I no longer like the teachers, I’m sure they’re all great people, however in their field not the best teach’ers. I’ve witnessed snarky remarks from teachers, to students during online learning, I’ve witnessed teachers hold grudges against CHILDREN, and start to cry because they couldn’t get a grasp of their kids. Not sure where they think this quality is going to keep them a top ranked school. The school campus is gorgeous. The quality of teachers is questionable lol. Great principle and VP.

Thank you Franklin Academy for being not only the best most invested in education but for also inspiring our children to fill the hallways of our campus! We have been in your charter school for 8 years with Mr Carnaggie since Cooper & feel so blessed to have found you. You are a gift to Broward County families!

We moved from the beach area to get my daughter into this school for middle and high school years. We wanted something that was family oriented, clean, and had values...like we were at "Floranada Elementary" from K-5 and were afraid that we wouldnt find it. We did!Franklin Academy Pines K-12 CARES! My (now 8th grade) daughter does very very in her Honors level classes, and will even have her 2 years of College required language credits this year. Most teachers go the extra mile to make sure the students can reach their goals and prosper. My daughter plays on their soccer team and basketball team and absolutely loves her school, teachers, coaches, and friends. The best part about it... is that we KNOW where she will go for high school. ? We wouldn't choose any other school. Im SO glad we found Franklin Academy!

I love this school! And everyday even if I am tired, Ms Cáceres will put a smile on your face. She is a very nice media teacher, When I have her for specials, I love reading there in that time. Ms Blandon and Ms Hernandez are the best teachers I ever have. I learned a lot about math and writing. Thank you Franklin Academy. - Happy Franklin student.
