Hair down the best salon in Pembroke Pines!!! From the moment you walked in, Monica and Maria make you feel welcomed and comfortable. They listen to what you want and give you helpful suggestions about the style that fits you best. The salon itself is super clean, relaxing, and has a great vibe. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for quality hair care and friendly service!

I had an extremely disappointing experience trying to book an appointment at Salon 184. I called to make an appointment with Nelson, but Monica answered the phone and was immediately rude and dismissive. She kept cutting me off mid sentence, didn’t let me explain myself, and rushed me the entire time, all while I was simply trying to say that I had been calling for the past two days with no answer.
When I asked about Nelson, she told me he was on vacation, again cutting me off and being completely unprofessional in her tone. I finally told her she was being rude and asked to speak with someone else, specifically Maria, who I knew was part of the team.
The conversation with Maria was at least more polite and respectful. She listened, explained that Nelson was out, and took my number. However, when I asked who Monica was, she told me that Monica was also one of the owners. I explained how disrespectful Monica had been, and rather than apologizing, Maria tried to excuse her behavior by saying they were having a tough day and that the computer system was down. She even said she was sitting next to Monica during the call and that it “wasn’t that bad.”
Let me be very clear...I felt ignored, dismissed, and completely undervalued as a potential customer. Justifying rude behavior because you’re having a bad day is not acceptable, especially not from a business owner. Maria’s response essentially condoned Monica’s unprofessionalism. It was shocking.
I told them to delete my number and that I would not be visiting the salon...ever. And I absolutely would NOT recommend this place to anyone. If this is how they treat people over the phone, I can only imagine what the in-person experience might be like.
Terrible, unprofessional, and disappointing. Avoid Salon 184.

I had been going to the same salon for many years, close to home, nice people but for a few years not thrilled with my hair when I left. It has always been hard to find someone to work with red wavy/curly hair. Also, I had to hide in my house for a few days until the color was off of my face, ears and neck. Not anymore.I took a chance and went to Salon 184 and it paid off ! A big thank you to Monica who did my color beautifully (with no face painting) and taught me how to train my curls again, Maria who cut my hair perfectly so there are no choppy areas and Nelsi who shampooed my hair and nearly put me to sleep it was so relaxing.I am once again thrilled with my hair and I highly recommend Salon 184.Service: Shampoo & conditioning

Loved my haircut. Nilsson has an artist hands. Didn't give me an old lady's hair do (admittedly, I am an old lady). Definitely knows how to work with hair, specially curly hair. Thank you Nilsson!

I stumbled upon this spot unexpectedly and called to see if it were possible to fit me in for a wash & blow. I was fortunate enough to catch the co owner Monica on the phone who made it happen. She was such a delight! They have other services that I’m excited to check out my next visit. So friendly & sweet. Atmosphere is awesome!

I saw the excellent reviews for Salon 184 and called them. I spoke to Monica who owns it and asked her about my curly hair which needed a good cut. She reassured me so I went. I was warmly greeted when I went in and introduced to Nilson who shampooed, cut and styled my hair. He's an excellent hairdresser and great conversationalist!! I'll definitely be back!! Thank you Monica and Nilson!

I love salon 184 been going to them for many years. Great service and Maria and her staff always makes everyone feel like family. I moved from Pembroke Pines 3 years ago to Vero Beach and I still go to Maria.
