Dr Lakhan and the whole crew at this VCA provide consistently stellar service! VCA Silver Lakes is remarkably organized, attentive, and caring. They excel in handling my cat Tucker with love and expertise. Their knowledge and willingness to go the extra mile really makes all the difference.

I changed twice vets before finding this VCA Silverlakes does a very good job. I feel it's well managed. Vet assistants do a great job and even remember the symptoms of my dogs last visit. One feels quite supported. My vet is also very good and listens.I must also mention the excellent groomer. The best I have ever had for a poodle. She went out of her way using some of her own products for the red paws.

I have been coming to Dr. Kuhn with my pets for 10+ years and I’ve never had a bad experience here, ever. Everyone from the front desk to the lab techs are so helpful and friendly and answer any and all questions. Dr. Kuhn has saved my dog’s life on multiple occasions and will stop at nothing to make sure your pet is cared for and happy. Highly recommend VCA silver lakes!!

I brought my kitten there when I first got her and they told me she had tapeworm. They sent me home with a de wormer( three tubes to give her orally. Mind you that doesn't work on tape worm... you would think they would know that... NO. So I go back and all they do is give me three more tubes to get rid of the tape worm. When I took her the second time all the vet did was play with her for about 10 min and barely talked about the cat didn't give me any useful information really. I normally take my animals to the west pines location but my friend took her to this vet because that is where he takes his animals and he was the one who found her also. This vet also tried to charge me for a bunch of things without explaining them, she just handed me a bill and said this is what your going to pay at the end of the visit, (absolutely not) so I asked her what everything is for and I took it all out because I didn't feel confident with them based on the explanation she gave me of what everything is and "why" my cat needed these things. The explanation I got wasn't NEEDs "you don't have to get them" she said .For my cats third visit I decided to take my cat to the west pines location and they explained in great detail about everything they wanted to charge me and why.On top of that they told me my cat STILL HAS TAPE WORM and that she needs a SHOT to get rid of it!!!! NOT THE ORAL LIQUID! What the silver lakes vet gave me was just for normal worms not tape worm! Very disappointed I wasted my time there and a month later my poor baby still has a tape worm in her small little body . Over all better experience at the west pines location. I will never take any of my animals to the silver lakes one again.

No, No don't go they told my mom to leave her fur baby weight only 2#'s overnight that someone will be there the entire night I had a feeling they were lying so we went around the shopping center. We saw them getting in the car and leaving that I called her and she said they were there and I don't know you're not there because I'm here so they kept us waiting in the room and they brought us inside and she was laying in a tray with two bottles of water warm water. She was dead but they told us she was dead I kept saying she's dead and she kept saying no she's not so my mom crying and I'm crying and my son we left, we were driving down 1/84 and we got a call that she had passed away those lyingI don't know words I don't wanna call her just don't don't do that. If you care don't do that they're not an animal hospital they don't keep patients overnight. They just wanted to keep her and tell me the next day that she had passed away so I would have to pay more.

Terrible staff they want to up charge me for my dogs ear medicine he’s been on treatment for over 6 months and he hasn’t healed and the price difference is 200 dollars than when we started treatment they gave me this pills that were supposed to calm him down and all they did was gave my dog stomach problems didn’t even sedate or calmed him….. over all if they couldn’t heal my dog with his ear infection or even sedated him a little with their pills, I wouldn’t trust them with any type of medication .

A hostile employee by the name of Gabby wanted to condescendingly speak to me about how she doesn’t see me on the schedule. My appointment was for 9 AM. Came in and waited for over 30 minutes. They took me off the schedule and gave my spot away! They had to have. I literally have a confirmation text from November 5th confirming my 9 AM November 23rd appointment. I took off work for this appointment! You should not play with peoples time and money. Oh and they took a walk-in before me! Despite me showing proof of my appointment

I want to express my full gratitude to one of the best vet I have ever met, Dr Delicia Lakhan , we came to miami 7 years ago with our beloved son a 4 years old Scottish and came to this clinic referred to us by a friend. Our friend gave us a vet name but my appointment was with Dr Lakhan, which showed Professionalism, knowledge and compassionate care. We stayed with her for years until yesterday that due to his illness we had to send him across the rainbow bridge. At this moment I am still wordless and in extreme pain with the loss of my boy, nonetheless I must express my gratitude to Dr Lakhan for keeping my baby healthy for many years and showing the strength , professionalism and compassion in a terrible moment for me and my wife. Also I must mention that since Josh joined your team he always was very professional and attentive when on my visits and yes he was there yesterday with us during this unfortunate and unforgettable experience that goes beyond description. I hope God gives these two professionals long life so they can continue providing excellent compassionate care for others as well as they did with Negri JR . Thanks to all staff at VCA Silverlakes at Pembroke.

I absolutely love this location. I had to bring my cat in last year around this same time due to constipation. They took great care of her. I called again for the same reason a few days ago and Gabby, was so sweet and got my in right away. Thankfully my kitty went to the bathroom that morning and I had to call back to cancel and Gabby was so happy! I drive about 30 mins just for this location! Everyone here goes above and beyond and really makes you feel comfortable!

Walked in 2 hours before closing, they denied my cat any treatment “it was too late” Unprofessional, every employee gave me a horrible faceThe 3 in the front and one in the back. They lied to me told me to take my cat without an appointment to show up and deny me. Ended up going to ER and paid ridiculous prices all because they ARE LAZY AND DIDN’T ACCEPT MY CAT THAT IS IN CRITICAL CONDITION

Had an emergency with my dog Luna, and the staff was so quick to schedule her in and make time for her. Luna is a timid dog, and they did everything possible to calm her, make the environment perfect for her. Nurses were beyond caring and gentle and I could not have asked for more. Wendy in the front desk did a wonderful job explaining all the charges and breaking everything down. Truly satisfied with the care my dog received. You can really see the love they have for animals, and its comforting to know my dog was in good hands while getting procedures done. 5 Stars recommending to friends.
