Reagan was the best server we have ever had. Food was on point. A must if you are in Pensacola.

The food was pretty decent, with the wings being my favorite. Was surprised by the garlic butter style... very savory and good.

You be the judge! Table of 5 got there at 7:15, we were the first table inside the restaurant and ordered our drinks, appetizers and entrees at the same time so we can get everything quick. Got our bushwhackers 20 min later, had to ask for silverware. Waited 20 min more to get our appetizers and had to remind again that we don’t have silverware. The Server didn’t check on us that all. Her name is Angel and all she did was to take our food order and just disappear. I think she had tables outside or something but never around us, so we always had to bother employees around us for basic stuff( witch I hate doing)Sooo, no refills, still waiting for our entrees more than an hour we asked if we can just not get the food because we we’re already late for an concert, but the server insisted that the food was coming. 20 min later got the food and boxed it. Asked for the checks- 10 min later she brought it to us. Then 15 min later we were chasing Angel down to get our cards so we can go… charged the wrong check to a wrong card and the manager gave us cash, witch was wierd. To our complaint the manager “ Ferrari” said- “sorry guys, one of those days”Horrible service, food was ok but the whole 2,5 hours spent at the restaurant was not worth it. Wouldn’t recommend.

We brought our fresh catch her for staff to prepare for our meal. We enjoyed our blackened red snapper, with sides of corn, slaw and oysters. We also enjoyed the drinks and the view was great. This is our fifth or sixth trip here to this very fun, local hang out.

Like the "Little Engine that Could," I sincerely felt like everyone was trying to do their best! The atmosphere felt strained. The food was probably better than I thought. Maybe it was an off day. I would/will try it again and do another review.Kid-friendliness: They cater to all!

The waitress was amazing! I loved the view and vibe outside. The food wasn't great but I like that they serve breakfast lunch and dinner. I'll try dinner at some point and adjust my review accordingly.

The owner does not care about its customers. Check out the picture of how they responded to my review.

Loved this spot for our vacation! Amber was super friendly and made the experience amazing. Our bartender Kelsey made the best Bloody Mary.

Autumn was a friendly face at the hostess stand and we were able to get seating outside overlooking the marina very quickly on this holiday weekend. Amber was very attentive and friendly, and got us everything we needed. We all enjoyed the oysters halfshell, and my party had gumbo, a burger, the frech dip and a po boy. The bushwacker was unimpressive, lacking any richness of flavor but it was served in a to go cup so that was convenient? The tvs were playing and I couldn't hear any music, but I felt like I was in a local watering hole. I'd prolly stop here again, the service was really the best part of this experience though.

Food was decent but took about an hour to get our food, the restaurant was half empty at 8:30 so not sure what the problem was. My wife had the gumbo and i had the fried red fish tacos.

Below Mid. Took a long time for food to come out and it was nothing to rave home about. If someone asked me if they should come here i’d say find some where better. Tarot Tots over fries??? heck no! Fried oysters were soggy and their coke machine was broken, now that’s the biggest deal breaker. When our food came out after an hour of waiting our order was wrong and only got half of the food on one dish. Waitress prioritized cleaning a table over getting my ranch, after I finished my meal already. And the cherry on top was that they charged the wrong meal on the wrong card….

Got the blackened Redfish sandwich and tots. Menu says it comes with American cheese but I substituted smoked gouda. Really good. Large piece of fish that hung over the bun quite a bit and was cooked really good. Nice chunky tomato slice. Server Amber provided excellent service. Overlooked a marina. Indoor and outdoor seating. We sat outside, which was nice and shaded with a nice view. I liked it and will be back on my next trip.

Mother's Day was wonderful because we found this place. I always want bay shrimp and they have it. Stacey was just awesome as our waitress. Food was excellent. My family will make this restaurant our new home.

My son and I went there after a Dolphin cruise and got there late about 20 min before the kitchen closed and was so glad they could accommodate us. Our waitress was Destyni and could of not of been any nicer if she tried. We ordered their onion rings that are beer battered and they arrived at our table hot and delicious. My son had the Captain Tim's platter and was able to substitute Cole slaw for the shrimp Gumbo. He had so much food he was barely able to eat it all. I had the shrimp platter and couldn't' eat all of it. The peel and eat shrimp were very good and just the right amount of spices on them. They had a lot of outdoor seating that over looked the water. The next time we are down in Pensacola the Frisky Dolphin will be at the top of our list for dinner. Give them a try you won't be disappointed and you defiantly won't leave hungry.

I have traveled the world eating my way through Italy, France, Spain and many other magical places. The food at the Sandbar/Frisky Dolphin on Pensacola Beach is top notch, and amazing. We tried everything from the delicious tuna dip, snow crab legs, redfish platter and a selection of scrumptious oysters. This is a world class restaurant on the Sabine Bay, with the best sunsets a girl could ask for. Cocktails are delicious too. Our new favorite spot and worth the drive from Gulf Shores!
