I normally give Dollar trees a higher rating. I normally enjoy my experiences at the Dollar tree stores. But one of the employees totally ruined my experience at this one. My brother and I went in there to look for some paracord.. we didn't find what we were looking for but we did purchase another item. My brother went and waited in the checkout line while I looked at the Paracord some more just to make sure I didn't miss anything. I felt confident that they didn't have exactly what I was looking for so I met him in the checkout line. We paid and then walked out the door. When we left, the cashier left people waiting in line to pay so she could follow us out the door and glared at us as if we had stolen something or whatever, and stayed out there watching us until we were plum off the property. That was uncalled for and very uncomfortable, for my brother and I, and probably for the poor people that were standing in their waiting to pay.

I was so blown away at how Rude, inappropriate and unprofessional the cashier was to the woman she was waiting on! The woman appeared to be possibly homeless and having trouble finding enough change to buy the food items that had been run up. The cashier showed NO Compassion whatsoever! Her remarks and her actions could be heard to the back of the line. I mentioned to the cashier how I'm thankful that no matter how many times I go to God I know I won't ever be treated that way. The cashier's response was, "she's in here all the time and she's a drunk and all she's buying is junk food"! Okay but Who is this woman to Judge, and to ADVERTISE Anything about this woman to the entire store? I told her that it's not her place to judge what she is buying, I myself have trouble eating food n I at times have to settle for whatever I know I can get down!
The woman in front of me helped buy the remaining items for the lady all while the cashier was being very judgemental n unprofessional. Once it was my turn The cashier continued to try explain WHY she was being had this animosity towards this woman, to the point she shared her Dad was an alcoholic n she grew up with it ! I'm sorry this Cashier had to experience growing up with an alcoholic, but it's still No excuse to treat someone badly. The only thing that the customer was doing was trying to buy some food items n some water, I never heard her say or act in anyway to deserve such treatment! The customer kept her head down n continued to look for $.09 cents she was short. I'm APPALLED that the cashier felt it was her place to demean, belittle, judge and embarrass this poor woman. We never know what another person is going through, have been through or what their circumstances are, our actions/words can be that feather that breaks the camels back n causes that person to go over the edge! Compassion and kindness are FREE, and if you can't say something nice DON'T SAY ANYTHING AT ALL!
I Would hope that Dollar Tree does not condone this type of behavior from their employees.
Be the reason someone SMILES today instead of the Final Nail in their Coffin!
Shame on this cashier n I will hold you up in prayer for a job that you won't have to work with customers.

Cashier Amanda is nasty! Talking customers saying she's hood. " Ain't nobody going to step up to her." And management will cover her. I usually don't mind this dollar tree, but this employee made me not come back to this location. She had an opinion about everything, especially kid related about what my kids should and shouldn't be...ie telling my son he couldn't open the toy...I just bought at the register and paid for. It sucks when your kid already has extra needs and you encounter someone like this.

The black older bald lady (newer associate) followed me around the whole store. I made random turns and again there she was. I wasn't dressed like the hobos that come in there so I didn't understand why. I've shopped here for a while and never had a problem. I manage a large retail store not far from dollar tree so I know when someone is doing loss prevention tactics. I literally was shopping for petty items in plain view . As soon as I walked in she started following me aisle by aisle. I will never spend another dollar here. Around 11am hour 3/5/24. The sad thing about it I was recording her do it on my phone and she didn't notice it

The white lady working on shift as of right now. 8:05pm 1/04/24 at the mobile hwy location in Pensacola , was rude as hell. And walked in on my boyfriend in the bathroom, when my boyfriend had asked the other employee on shift (some black lady) to use the restroom and she responded yes and told him where it was. While he was in the bathroom the white lady came in a walked in on him using the bathroom telling him he had to get out then proceeded to follow him around the store and followed him outside and when my boyfriend told me this I went inside and asked her why she violated my boyfriends privacy and she then started to curse me out and tell me he didn’t even ask for the bathroom key?! We didn’t know there was a key and it was unlocked when he went in the bathroom. She was acting belligerent and I don’t believe that is someone who corporate would want representing their company . Something better be done about this or I’m filing a police report.

A store where almost every thing is 1 to 2 dollars and they have some really cool stuff and some of every day stuff. It's a really good story ?.

store dirty and floors. they have 2 bathrooms but never have the key. bathrooms always out of order. cashier was very nice but overall its not a good store
