DO NOT buy a vehicle from this place OR believe anything about their so called “30 day warranty” or the “A-Z inspection” that Fil's Auto Center supposedly does when you buy a car!
Where do I start, we purchased the vehicle and were told by Catalina they never buy from auctions; the seller on the title is an auction! Plus ALL their vehicles are inspected by her husband’s company, Fils Auto Center on Hansel St. So much for that inspection, because shortly after the vehicle rolled off the delivery trailer in Colorado, the check engine light was on and the car was overheating. We took it to an auto center in Colorado that has been used by our family for 17 years and they ran the OBD2 codes, said it’s not the engine overheating it’s the transmission overheating and to not drive the vehicle until that is repaired. $4900 later, yes $4900, the car is finally drivable. Transmission work, new brakes, rotors, calipers...you name it!!
After $6900 for the vehicle and $700 to ship to Colorado and $4900 in repairs; reaching anyone at Fil's Auto Group or Center has been short of impossible. Once I did reach the center they said they know nothing about the problems and when I finally reached the group, Catalina said she isn't a mechanic and knows nothing about the car or what was done during the supposed A-Z inspection.
Be careful when visiting Fil's Auto Group or just avoid this place all together, because we were taken advantage of and tricked into believing they were selling decent cars and they would do the right thing!
Too bad I am unable to leave ZERO stars, because I would!!!

I bought a car at Fils Auto Group, November 2024, and a few days later had to put $4300 into repairs on top of what I already paid for the car. After countless phone calls and messages, we learned that they did would not honor their advertised guaranteed warranty. On top of that, we were misinformed (untruth) as to whether the car was bought at auction, which it was.
Another exasperating thing, getting the title straightened turned out to be a nightmare!!
I would NEVER recommend buying a car from Fils Auto. The car turned out to be a costly piece of junk. If I could give Fils 0 stars for their online review, I would happily do so.

I trust they stand by their words, bought the dodge avenger a few weeks ago, they did what they said they would do and gave me a 30 day warranty, so far so good, I recommend them

Less than 7 months ago I bought a 2013 Dodge Dar from day one the car had defects and they promised to fix it so I came away convinced of it as the days went by the car got worse and I sent texts and they responded reluctantly I never had a response in my favor Even though it is within the guarantee that according to them they only talk to you nicely so that you buy once and done, they do not treat you well and they do not respond to you for the cars either. They sold me a car in poor condition in the end I had to hand it over because I was not willing to have more money to spend

When calling to ask about a warranty the lady laughed and said “oh why you worried for so little” (price of car 7,900). I’m sorry but even for 7,900 I should get a RELIABLE vehicle. Test drove the 13 dodge caravan and the engine was slipping, started to get hot. Not to mention we had to get jumped off prior to testing it out. Also the reservoir cap was missing. Sounds like a recipe for a disaster. Not to mention everything under the hood was taped up just about. I was weary about the few bad reviews I saw prior to going, but decided to try it out. Unlike the previous reviews, I came with pictures. Please stay away and don’t waste your time like my husband and I did today.

In January of this year, my parents and I went to look for two used cars. Fil's Group attracted our eye with the good pricing of their cars. The people there were very nice and polite, they helped us look at them and explained any questions we had.
The lady whom helped us was patient and kind. She let us test drive any car we were interested in and encouraged us to take our time looking. I fortunately found a car I liked that was in great condition! When we went over the paper work and history of the car I had chosen, she let and even encouraged us to recheck the cars condition and again inspect it when I had shown discomfort toward the car history (it wasn't a big deal, I wanted to make sure there was no underlying issues). I really appreciate her honestly and understanding! She didn't mind waiting for us at all. I never once felt rushed or pressured to buy anything.
I've been driving my car for a few months now and I haven't had any major issues with it! I had a very good experience with Fil's Group! I have recommended this place to a few people I know already and I would recommend it to you too! While their selection is a bit small, it has good cars for a good price! And before you head home, make sure to check the gas! I was almost empty at the beginning of the ride home. :)
