Music is beautiful and Pastor Locke has great sermons. Everyone is nice and it starts when you walk in to visit. I love helping in the nursery. This church has something for everyone of all ages :-)

Great preaching! I love the pastor and the choir. I am very sad about the interactions I've had with several of the church members there but you will get the truth there so I can't always focus too much on the humans there.. they're human just like me... heart broken over that.. But it is what it is..

Hillcrest has stood strong for a very long time I've only been there for about 8 years . The pastor is the greatest person ever he is straight to the point with a very loving approach knows his Bible and speaks only the truth which is Jesus Christ .!!!!

I have been going to Hillcrest for 16 years. It is amazing that a large church has such a close group of members. Once you connect through the life groups, you will have a great church family ? We love it.

Hillcrest has been my church since 1987! The pastor is great and they have plenty of ministries for personal involvement. I especially enjoy the choir, my small group and short term missions.

Disclaimer to the review that I am about to leave: My views are not toward the church, just one extremely rude individual. Ok, now that is out of the way allow me to proceed. Today during the 11 AM service I was sitting in the upper right hand balcony area facing from the pulpit. After the music was over and we were being seated waiting for the pastor to begin speaking, a man in his 30's and his 3-4 year old daughter was sitting in the balcony very close to me and a few others. No big deal. His daughter begins climbing over the pews and running up and down the aisles all while the 30ish year old gentleman just sat there with his head buried in his cellphone. It was extremely disruptive and I eventually had to leave. It made me as well as many others extremely uncomfortable. I feel like there needs to be deacons upstairs keeping an eye out on things like this. What the most troubling part of all was that someone could have snatched that girl away and that gentleman would not even have known/cared. This was not the churches fault, this was the gentleman's fault. People, if you have young kids you need to watch them at all times. You need to have them by your side. We live in a very crazy world and not everybody has good intentions. Another thing that bothers me is that there are 2 dirt parking lots in the back. I wish that they would put asphalt down so that I don't get my dress shoes all filthy every time I come to church. That is half the reason I haven't come to this church in nearly 7 years. This was my first time back in nearly 7 years. If these 2 things could be fixed I would consider rejoining. Anyone who shows up for the 11 AM service has to traipse through all of the dirt. I used to be a member but quit going because of personal things that came up. Hillcrest has excellent people and an excellent pastor. I do not dislike the church at all. Thank you.
