My wife went to this H&M location on her birthday with the special 25% off email voucher that she received. Their system wasn't working properly when they scanned her email and once you scan it you have 13 minutes before it expires. The manager was called to the register to help after attempting to help, he told her that it's not working that she'll just have to come back another day. My wife explained that she received this voucher that is only good for the day of your birthday. The manager grabbed her phone and looked at it and just told her that she needs to come back another day. She asked if he could just manually enter the 25% and he said no. After some convincing, he told her he would enter it manually and told her not to be upset with him because it's not his fault?? The manager is horrible at this location. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

This review is mainly for the staff of the establishment, this is not to ridicule but to give an honest review and the management should do something to correct it and improve the quality of their customer service. This particular incident I just witnessed as one of the customers. (I also have not received the right treatment). It is almost always true that if you are in the customer service industry, customers are always right, however there are exceptions to this, that even they are not right you still have to treat them right. This was not displayed one morning when I visited this h&m store today, June 7, 2023. I was waiting at checkout and this lady was waiting for her change and it seems like the cashier was struggling. In my recollection the lady was calm and was just using her words and voicing her opinion as she was waiting. I had an interaction with the nice lady since she was waiting for her change. Then, when one of the crew came to check on the cashier, she merely stated a fact that the cashier must learn her Math. It was laughable for me because as another customer waiting in line it was exactly on my mind, “that the cashier was really need to work one her Math”. Then, they went ballistic on that lady and that they were getting ready to call the security. I witness no hostility nor violence displayed by the lady but her words that evidently offended the cashier. Which I believe who was the one displaying hostility and violence against its customer. Her voice raised, banging the drawers but I just observed never once they apologized for the inconvenience they caused for the lady (the customer) waiting for her change. If I heard them apologize at least once then they would have a little of my sympathies but they never apologized for their inadequacy with their service. Also, I was supposed to be the next in line but they let another cuatomer skip the line instead of us. It is baffling that in today’s world you are condemned if you speak of the truth, to let the staff know that even when they ask for a survey it will come up that as cashiers they have to work on their Math if they are inadequate in skill. For me the most that needs work on is their customer service. The best way to handle the situation was they should have apologized to that lady.

This location is hands down the best! The employees are nice and helpful the checkout line is always fast and they make sure the customers are happy. The store is always organized. I will definitely recommend this store and be back

Staff is very helpful and store is always clean and well organized. I love shopping here when I visit family, always find good outfits. The mannequins give me inspo as well.

H&M used to be an amazing store to shop in but what happened to their clothing? It used to be where I hated to go in because I'd walk out with one of everything, lol, but now, nothing appeals to me. I think it's just this location in the Pensacola mall. I've been to Foley and Destin and both of those stores are amazing with what they carry. In the Pensacola store, the clothing is boring. One last thing about H&M across the board that's disappointing is that they've gotten expensive. I'm very selective now in what I find and buy. H&M needs to reassess what they've done to the brand and make some changes. I agree w/ Matthew in one of these reviews where he talks about the cashiers. I've never been there where more than one cashier was working without a long line. Matter of fact, I've chosen not to buy and walk out when it's like this. H&M has many employees working in each area but none pick up the slack for the registers. It doesn't even occur to the cashier to call anyone up either. You would think there'd be a manager on duty watching this. If this location doesn't figure it out, it'll eventually close because there is no way that they can afford the rent, etc. w/ this type of business. In this economy, it'll be the first store to get chopped. I won't miss it. It'll just give me the opportunity to head over to Destin or Foley where the action really is. It certainly isn't in the mall in Pensacola.

Absolutely love the mens selection, this is my go to place for basic tees and sweat shorts.. also found some other goodies that I wasn’t even shopping for! super clean compared to other H&M stores and the employees are beyond nice. The cashier matt was very attentive despite the long line and got me to sign up for their points program that saved me 10% plus they offer military discount on top of it. I’ll definitely be back when I visit the area
