The locations is close to fast food and that is the only positive thing I have to say about this hotel. I went there this month (January 2025) and I refused to stay the entire night. I ended up sleeping in my car. First thing I noticed when I went inside was it was outdated, and had a foul smell to the room. The tv didn’t work. There were roaches everywhere. The sheets had stains. And the biggest issue for me was I saw a rat! I told management I wanted my money back because of all the issues the room had and they refused to give me my money back. I would not recommend this place to a pet yet alone any human. They need to either be updated and exterminated or shut down. I have never seen a hotel this bad before.

I only swing in to check up on some family I have staying there until they can get back on their feet. Don't get me wrong, most of the people there are good people, but everyone gets put in the same category due to the reputation of the area..
Rooms: Small and in need of a deep clean or a match, take your pick
Nearby activities: Jail
Safety: Everybody for yourself, you provide and maintain your own safety
Walkability: Store next door and DG across the road..
Food and drinks: Quite a few options
Noteworthy details: Getto AF

I arrived at the hotel and after checking in found the previous guest head Left Behind clothes in the drawer. There was no phone in the room, no towels, no drinking cups, and no ashtray, which should come with a smoking room. Then when I opened the fridge to put away my drink, a little roach came running out of there I saw several dead ones on the floor. Thankfully no bed bugs. I requested a wake up call, but because there was no phone in the room, I had somebody banging on the door to wake me up and then inform me that the room I was giving was non-smoking because of a mistake made by the night Clerk. There was also a lot of outside noise from traffic and tenants, so I did not get a very restful sleep.

OMG this is such a horrible nasty dirty ass place over priced with roaches and spiders they wouldn't give no remote towel and it was no hot water and to kill everything I kinda over slept and got threatened by the owner that he was going to call the police because I over slept

How is this place able to be operational?? They made us move rooms 4 times. One worse than the next. The 200 rooms are all infested with roaches and bugs. I had to clean the room and there were atleast 300 dead roaches in the cabinets I vacuumed.

The pictures the internet shows must be when the place was brand new. It looks NOTHING like this now. It was the sketchiest place I have ever stayed and literally only did so because it was probably the last hotel room in the state of Florida at the time.
However, even though I would NEVER stay in a place like this again, the lady at the front was nice, the air conditioner did work great and it helped drown out all the noise outside which was a lot, my car wasn't stolen or broken into, I didn't see any live bugs (they were probably scared to come out) and we didn't die.
So all in all if you have the choices of sleeping in the street or here, I guess if you're feeling brave go here but definitely not by yourself.

Served it's purpose as I evacuated the hurricane but the pool was green so it couldn't be used, had to ask for towels because there was none in the room, bug on bathroom floor dead and a few live ones, locks on door to pool was broken, worker walked right into my room with key after we checked in and was unpacking.
Stuff stuck to the rug by the bed looked gross.. Rooms need to be thoroughly cleaned or deep cleaned and repaired.

My family and I were evacuated Sept 25 for hurricane Helene. When we made it to Pensacola it was already late I usually read reviews before booking but as they say beggers can't be choosey well .. we paid $200 in cash and another $110 on my card..we go to our rooms my key won't work so I go back to the front ..after waiting for them to finish checking other customers in ..I finally get help so this guy walks with me to open my door ..at that time I'm told the keys don't open that door so they have to use a hard key that they can not let me use.. just come to them when I need to be let in my room ..ok I go in and open the back door bring my things in .it smells but I brought bleach and air freshener with me ..remote won't turn TV on but works otherwise. Watching the weather and it just randomly turns off .. ok weather is important but her I manually turn back on ..the fake wood tiles are all popped loose witch I trip on and about fall ..grr ..go to heat something in the microwave ..it doesn't work and when I moved it roaches came running from under it ..ok scratch that idea. Go get a shower .. scratch that idea no towels ..the only thing I can say was the air conditioner worked good ..we manage to stick it out till Friday when we can go back home . Saturday I noticed a charge on my card for $41.88 by hotel sol del .I've been calling since and I'm told rj isn't there..today is Tuesday and I finally talk to him ..he hangs up on first 2 times . He finally talks and says no they didn't charge me ..then he comes up with my card wasn't charged correctly the night we checked in and would not listen to me when I told him we paid cash also. Then it was for smoking wrong again I don't smoke .. then he came back to not being charged correctly and hung up on me .. he's lucky I live so far away or I'd be there in person complaining
Rooms: Big but dirty
Noteworthy details: Dirty, nasty, full of bugs and thieves ,liars and rude

This past weekend, me and my family evacuated from the hurricane we went on booking.com and paid for one room after the 4 Hour Drive to pensacola, we arrived upon checking again. I decided to do an inspection of the room. I work for a company which we do extermination as soon as I open the door and went in the bathroom I found live roaches crawling in the bathroom. I didn’t proceeded to inspect the bed, the beds were in case bed covers, which is the indication of bedbugs while pulling the covers off of the mattress and inspecting up under the boxspring. I found several bedbugs. I decided to explain this to the manager. He instantly got very loud and rude I never received a refund and I’m still fighting it now , do not stay here. It is disgusting and outdated.

TERRIBLE, HORRIBLE, THE WORST HOTEL IN PENSACOLA.
Rooms: They smell like cat piss, they dont clean them for other customers to stay. Floors are wet, carpet reeks. Bed sheets dirty, they have blood stains on them, there’s boody needles under the beds. Showerd have mold, the Roof leaks. Front door wont lock. Roaches walk around like they own the hotel. Front desk service is horrible , they wont even let you talk to them, they wont greet you, they just ask your name and charge you.
Safety: Windows have no curtains. The Back door to the rooms have no lock, meaning anybody can open from outside and come in your room. Not safe to stay at all. MAKE SURE YOU ASK TO SEE YOUR ROOM BEFORE YOU PAY!
