Solely due the extremely high cost. I will be switching to TerboTax next year as they charged my girlfriend a FORTH of what I was charged. I have used HR Block since 2017 I believe but the cost is disproportionately high.

I would caution anyone from using their services. I Thought this would be an easy in and out. The first meeting I left thinking I owed over $12,000. I was sick to my stomach. I looked it over that night and realized that they had made a mistake. Called the next day, they looked it over and said I owed $5000. Then after another phone call, again their mistake, I actually received money back. As far as them being the “professionals” I would use that term lightly as I had to call out their mistakes. I would never use them again.

Incredibly overpriced when basic tax filing is free. You would think they would at least be nice when they charge so much but the guy I dealt with was super rude.
