Friendly employees, helpful tellers at the bank and online. Great assistance inside the bank, along with no long lines. Offers of helpful banking, with auto loans, and necessary general banking needs at the bank or online.

We don't recomend PenAir to anyone .Also, I agree with what James Baker here said in the reviews about PenAir's behavior/treatment when you wish to close your own account. They were rude to my partner closing their account.I think maybe the area is mostly not stable or nice, and they hire local unprofessionals. They are also keeping employees we noticed that hang up on members, who ignore them while they are talking to them, (I always have a witness and they upset my witness also) and they get sarcastic and pronounce your simple last name in a disrespectful manor, several times, and different Live tellers do it. They keep them working here. Even though PenAir managers can see the recordings .The head teller April got smart and sarcastic as well, on speaker phone, when we told her last year and told her higher up. The unprofessionalism off Live tellers still happen today . It's inored.*They are not monitoring "recorded" live transactions with the members..Everyone would then see real quick who the real problem is. If interested in seeing the truth.I strongly believe it's the area of Pensacola that they keep hireing locally, that's the problem, and that they pay under living wages, so they get what they pay for, on our expense. We usually have issues doing business with Local Pensacola customers (most, not all of them ) and find them to be difficult in general & unsavory people, who don't want to pay properly for service.- Always try to get over on a small business and dishonest / & disrespectful.* Most Pensacola customers we find, like to make personal attacks as well, directly and indirect attacks and insults . People who are considered in good health...More stable customers and natives we found are in Gulf Breeze/ Navarre areas. Usually undisturbed .We shouldn't have to deal with this failed management here when we like to bank after 5 pm. We actually shouldn't have to leave.PenAir is having to be re-chartered in order to keep from being bought out. Who is over seeing how it's being ran? There is also no longer any long lines in drive thru we have noticed .I don't think they like the Live tellers. A mass loss of business actually happened after Live tellers was installed.Look at your account closing history time line PenAir. Lets look at the recorded live teller sessions also. All of them.

This location is closest to my house. I mostly use the ATMs and it will let you take out $5 if that's all you need. I like that. You don't have to take $20 like most ATMs. Also the staff there is very nice. If you need to see a teller inside it's very fast. You can even see a teller at the ATMs. So glad I bank here.

I had a CD account with Pen Air. An identity thief illegally convinced Pen Air to add his address (located in a different state), to my account, & then requested that a credit card , IN MY NAME, be sent to him. Pen Air never called me to confirm if that was me requesting a credit card, or not. Apparently, they did not ask for proof of identity before sending him a credit card in my name. It is a red flag for a bank or credit union, that when a change in address is being requested, AND a credit card is to be mailed, to ask for concrete proof that the person to receive the credit card was the lawful customer and not a THIEF. Pen Air failed to exercise reasonable care & did not do Due Dilliengence by sending a thief, a credit card in my name. When I discussed these issues with a corporate officer of Pen Air, he admitted that "a series of mistakes had been made". My wife & I suffered irreparable harm seeing someone run up charges on a card with my name on it. Criminal charges were filed with the various police departments and detectives to arrest the criminal, all to no avail. Stay away from Pen Air!!!!!

By the way...when someone suddenly changes or adds a new address to the account, and then requests a credit card to be sent to them, that is always a red flag to the credit union to investigate further before issuing a credit card. Pen Air never did that. There can be no excuse for their negligent deviation from the normal standard of care. I have discussed this issue with other credit unions, and they all agree that Pen Air should have made further investigation when faced with a change of address or adding an address, and a request for a credit card, before sending it out. Their carelessness has resulted in a nightmare of hell for myself and my wife. Avoid them and go somewhere else with your money.

They have the best customer service but if you ever go to close out your account you will see a whole different side of them not so nice.

Since becoming a member of PenAir I have the best banking experience I have ever had at any other bank and there has been many. One thing I love about being a member is the welcoming feeling, I get from the employees. I gave a friend a ride today to PenAir, who was also a member, and on the way there we were talking about how well we have been treated at the Credit Union and by the employees that work there. Upon arriving I saw a man and a woman exiting the bank helping an older lady to her car. I was shocked to see that they lady was helping her was a bank employee, even though someone else was there to help her. I had never seen such an act of kindness at any business establishment, and it touched my heart and really made my day. PenAir is the best bank I have ever had and seeing this convinced me that I had made the best decision to quit the bank I had before and switch to PenAir where people care about their customers and not just their business.

Today my partner and I came into saufley feild branch inside to deposit some business checks and we saw the teller Cindy -an older women with light hair.. She made a comment to my partner about her false eyelash then my partner seemed annoyed but joked anyway about it comming off , "yes, my eye lash is falling off". Then Cindy brought it up again 1 min later like a personal attack . My partner then asked Cindy "if she can leave her alone" . I left Penair and took all my money out because of this type of unprofessional behavior that I witnessed going through the tellers for deposits . I noticed they are not getting rid of tellers or managers who are not lucrative or who aggrivate or harass the members, which is maybe why PenAir has just closed 2 branches down . The "off" treatment is why my partner took out over 50 grand and moved it to another credit union and is also working on leaving for a more professional kind credit union experince where they are sharp and have good sense and polite treating members with dignity. Where is the higher up manager or CEO? The PenAir CEO needs to be more involved before Pen air goes under. This is a big reason why people leave. The lady Cindy didn't seem all there in our opinion and we deal with many people. She then started to tell an unwated story to us after insulting and harassing my partner who asked her to leave her alone . We talked among ourselves to get her to stop talking and work on the transaction so we could get out of there . It was highly toxic. Also, another heavy-set black lady working inside at another teller booth could be over heard calling someone "brain damaged" . Ironically, she was the same one who opened up an account for my partner and put in the wrong Social Security number- even though the Social Security card was handed to her with everything else she needed.. Her error created a temporary problem opening the account . She has thick curly black hair and heavy set we don't know her name. She works there regularly and was making foul statements that could be heard in the lobby by us members. Thanks!
