February 2025 by Clay Fletcher
Waited for two days to have my blood pressure medication filled, for two days it said in progress. I called on 04 FEB 2025 at 3pm to see what was taking so long, and was told that even though they had it on hand, they try to let Orlando send it to them. I persisted and she gave me attitude and said fine, I can have it ready in 10 minutes. She was rude and condescending when she told me “it’s your responsibility to call and say how important the prescription is”.

The Publix Pharmacy in Perdido has been incredibly helpful as my family has walked through my father's illness. We have needed multiple medications quickly, occasionally called in late or at the last minute by doctors. David lets us know how long they will take to fill, when we can use over the counter options, and how to use different medications. The help the pharmacist and pharmacy techs have offered us as we try to balance a dozen different medications has been invaluable. Thank you.

Seem to have a technical issue. Every time they try to accept my call they actually end it…how silly…10 times in a row, 3 different days :( surely just a mistake.. right

It’s like rolling the dice here…. How you’re treated and assisted is based solely on who’s working. I’ve spent most of my life in the medical field (and I’m 50) and I know that NO ONE should be treated differently based on their medications. However, depending on who’s working, you absolutely WILL face discrimination and judgement because of what you’re prescribed. I also know that I’m not the only one. However, their displays of ignorance and lack of professionalism reflects on Publix Pharmacy, not me (regardless of whether their intentions or actions are to make one feel shamed) so I hold my head high and continue going there NOT for their service but for the locations convenience. As a manager myself, a few employees jobs would be on the line based on what I’ve consistently experienced….

This is one of my favorite stores. Will be very happy when they open the new store at 98 and Blue Angel Pkwy.

First, Publix prices are outrageous. On a recent visit, for example, a single lemon cost 93 cents; 58 cents at Walmart.Second, Publix, like Walmart and all other US supermarket chains, promotes an unhealthy lifestyle with row after row of salty and sugar-laden junk food. Even it's store baked whole wheat bread contains sugar. THERE IS NO SUGAR IN BREAD. It's vaunted deli section is a carcinogens nightmare. My plea: stop eating process meats; it will KILL you. Read the research. Third, it's staff is admittedly friendly but woefully ill informed about its products. I recently asked why the croissants were packaged in plastic containers which transforms this French combination of crunchy and soft at the same time, into a soggy mess when they have other bakery products exposed to the air? The answer I got: "I just do what I'm told." Finally, avoid the ATM because Publix charges $2.75 for a transaction, the highest I've ever seen. So' if you want to get ripped off, this is the store for you.

Would not recommend. They had one check out lane open so we decided to do self checkout. The Self Checkout Attendant hovered over us and made us feel like we were going to shoplift. and continued to after I confronted him of why he was standing so close. Never in my life have I ever been made to feel this way. ?

J from the pharmacy really helped me out! She wasn’t the one checking me out but jumped in and started helping look up my insurance info so it went from $40 down to $6! I didn’t have my card on me and she also printed me the paper I would need in the future!

LOVE this publix by the beach! They have a very good deli at this location & the service is always very pleasant. The employees here are always friendly & engaging. They also have a great sense of humor! :)) Yesterday I stopped in to grab some things, bc I was out of town. I hurriedly changed from my fancy city wallet to my beach duds & unbeknownst forgot to grab my bank cards/credit cards out of it. Just grabbed by beach wallet & made tracks. When I was checking out I got 4 bottles of wine. The lovely young lady there says to me, you get a discount for purchasing four bottles something something... & I was like oh yeah, did I nail it? She Says, "yeah you nailed it" and she says you get a free bag also. And I was like, awesome! lol We were having fun goofing around..Then, I was about to pay, I realized I had no credit/bank cards as I had left them in my fancy wallet! yikes lol I did have some cash so I quickly counted my cash & said to the cashier "don't go over $160 that's all the cash I got!" Right as the cashier just finished checking out all my stuff it came to $157.34! Almost right on the MONEY BABY! hahah haha. He "Tyler S." looks at me & my cash, laughs & says, well, you def nailed it" and the lovely lady bagging says "divine intervention" Your having a blessed day! LOLOLOLOLThanks for the amazing fun friendly engaging service! Y'all are so awesome in every way, you made my day! :)) Attention Store Manager: Mike Sica"Give these two a raise!" Shout out to Tyler S. and his lovely side kick who bagged my groceries. "Nailed it!" haha! "God bless y'all!" Highest Recommendations.

This is the worst pharmacy I have ever used...I agree, zero should be an option! I always go pick up 2 prescriptions and they never have both filled, I always have to wait. I waited an hour yesterday only for them to tell me they had to order my refill...the reoccurring refill that is NEVER ready. This was my last time, I will never use this pharmacy again.

This pharmacy is the worst Publix pharmacy in the Pensacola area. Always rude when you call them and takes over 8 hrs to get a simple refill. How long does it take to put 30 pills in a bottle for a paying customer? About 30 seconds, I know this because I used to be a pharmacy tech. This is a repeated issue and not a one time thing. I will not be using this location again and I hope this review will deter others as well. Awful customer service.
