I do not like signing in on a kiosk. It seems so impersonal, and I sense employees were replaced by them.Give people back their jobs.

I had to take the 2 oldest kids with me to get blood work done. I went to Quest Diagnostics at West Florida Hospital. My 8 year old instantly found hand sanitizer and put some in his hands. A staff member is walking by and asks my son what is in the floor. We all look down and I say “hand sanitizer” because I knew my son had just used some in his hands and I put 2 and 2 together that obviously he dropped some on the floor. The pile was about 2 inches in diameter. Of course it was done by accident. She asks the lady assisting me if she had any paper towels and the lady says no. She walks off I assume to look for paper towels. She came back a minute later handing my child paper towels and asking him to wipe it off the floor. I immediately tell my son to stop because no he is not going to clean nothing off the hospital floor. Everybody KNOWS hospital floors are unsanitary full of germs from sick people, not to mention we are at a lab where they draw BlOOD. The staff member walks back by and I told her “I told my son to stop cleaning the floor because this is a hospital floor and that’s nasty and it’s not his job to clean the hospital floor with sick people, blood and needles. If you wanted the pile cleaned up you could have asked me, I’m his mom I have no problem cleaning up after my son because that’s my job.” I told her that she is the staff member. She said “it’s not my job” and I said “and it’s not my 8 year old sons job period”. Comes time for my payment for services. I get up to get my wallet out of my bag and look beside me and there is blood on the floor. I immediately ask to speak to a manager. The manager comes and I tell her everything that happens and she says “oh.” Then I point to the lady it happened with and the lady comes from behind the corner and says “yea I did it.” The manager does and says nothing. Then the manager says “I think we all could’ve handled it a little differently”
Ummmm….. no. I don’t care if my son was PURPOSELY putting hand sanitizer all over the floor don’t ask him to clean nothing off these hospital floors #1. He is not trained to clean in a facility where there is BLOOD drawn and urine samples.
I am so happy she does not work with children because if she thinks that 2 inches of mess is a “BIG mess” she is sooooooooooo mistaken. This also makes me worried for children in her care if they ever get blood drawn.
If she was really going to ask me to do it she had the opportunity to ask me to clean it when she asked us all what was on the floor.
I will never be back to West Florida hospital or anywhere affiliated with them.

I scheduled an appointment. I got there 10 minutes early & checked in, then I waited for another 40 before I got up and left. I'm not really sure what the point of scheduling was if I was going to have to wait for so long to get seen.

"Closes at 4:30" should mean closes at 4:30...not "closes at 4 because we're having a meeting" this is the second time I've had to try and get blood where they're closed when they should theoretically be open. I cant do a lot due to time constraints and it's really frustrating.

The women who did my blood was so kind, patient and friendly. Made the experience 10xs better as I was stressing myself out about the outcome of what the results would be. I wish I would have remembered her name, but I'll never forget her face. :)

I got there early and since no other person was waiting, they took me right away. I was there less than 10 minutes. Everyone was proactive, professional, pleasant, polite. I recommend Quest Diagnostic to anyone at HCA W. Fla. Hospital lab.

I recently visited Quest Diagnostics on the recommendation of my primary health provider for some lab work, and I couldn't be more impressed with the entire experience. Making my appointment online was a breeze, with numerous options available, including some as soon as the very next day. This flexibility made scheduling my visit incredibly convenient. Upon arriving at the Pensacola North location, I had no trouble finding their suite, which was well-marked and easily accessible. The facility had several iPad kiosks for check-in, and the process was streamlined and efficient. Scanning my ID and insurance card took less than a minute, and within about 45 seconds, I was checked in and waiting to be called.
I only waited for about four minutes before my name was called, and the efficiency of the process was remarkable. My phlebotomist, Cameron, was phenomenal. His excellent bedside manner and thorough explanations of the procedures were reassuring, especially since I tend to be nervous during blood draws. Cameron was incredibly accommodating when I mentioned that I often faint and do better lying down. He ensured I was comfortable throughout the process and even had a bottle of cold water ready for me afterward. He made sure I felt stable and good enough to stand before helping me out of the suite. In total, my entire visit to Quest Diagnostics lasted no more than 15 minutes. The efficiency and care provided made it one of the best healthcare experiences I've had. While I don't look forward to needing more bloodwork in the future, I am reassured that any subsequent visits will be just as smooth and pleasant. Thank you, Quest Diagnostics, and a special thanks to Cameron for making this experience exceptional!

Toni is a SUPERSTAR!!! I have never felt more comfortable getting a blood draw then when I came in and met Toni. On a scale of 1-10 she gets a 20. Toni gets patient care. I am grateful to have met her.
