I needed storage space for an upcoming move and was recommended to consider Public. Pretty easy process, all in all - I came on to the site and met with Kelsey, one of the property managers, who very kindly walked me around the property, and showed me a couple of units before I decided on one. She took the time to answer my questions and explain everything. The property itself looks pretty clean, and it wasn't extremely busy at the time that I came in.

We all know how frustrating tech can be when things don't go the way you want them to. Had an issue with an access code and the site staff, in particular Sonnet, went above and beyond to sort it out. Want to thank her here for the help.

10 out of 10 Very Deep, Nice and Wide. I loved every second being inside there. Affordable prices for a space that can accommodate everything I unloaded in there. With the amount of space that was leftover, my friends and I are coming back to unload more later. Thank You, Public Storage.

Jessica was very pleasant and helpful when we got there to pick up an auction unit that we purchased. I Was informed to bring back the lock from door when we were done emptying the unit, as well as another lock (w key) they place inside the auctioned off unit for the next person that ends up moving into it. Found that weird as units can sit empty for months before being rented out again, and if I was to return it from the unit the management placed inside it, why not wait till it's rented again and give that renter the lock and skip the extra steps (seemed common core math logic to me).
Drive aisles were clean in comparison to most facilities we've been to, and the facility was clean based on office and what is seen on the cameras of the drive aisles.
We got to our climate control access door and was met with a stifling blast of heat and smells of urine and rot. It was 91° today and we had to keep the door propped open to be able to withstand the heat coming from inside. The best part was the unit was 2nd in from the access door.
Opened unit to see ceiling debris all over the contents inside from the hole in the insulation above as well as chew marks all over everything from rodents. Moving the 1st bag we found in left bottom corner a decayed rat alongside the tenant's cut lock and a chewed on bait pack used on rodents by facility.
As a former property manager, when cutting the lock it falls straight down from where it hangs on the hasp on the far right side of unit, and it gets scooted in where it fell. This lock was on far left behind a big bag, telling me the facility knew of the rodent in that corner, and they covered it with a bag.
A few more bags taken out revealed a 2nd (plumper) decayed rat in the upper left corner, along with fluids from decay surrounding the rat.
When we brought the locks too the office after we were done emptying the unit, I informed Jessica if our discoveries of the the ceili hole and rats (and returning the rodents for them to dispose of!) and she did not seem surprised. I am definitely going to follow up with a professional to see if it's legal to knowingly sell an infested unit and not disclose any f this.
I hope others have had better experiences than we did, this is by far the worst facility I've been to. I advise any tenants to check their insurance coverage (and probably increase it) as an insurance claim for loss of destroyed belongings stored is in your future.
