Awful online support. You can’t talk to a human on their support line. You also can’t find a local number to talk to someone. There is no available search option on their website. If they don’t have it listed as an option or answer, you have to physically go to one of their locations. They have shown once they have your money, they don’t care about customer service or satisfaction.

Tried to open checking account this am. Right out the bed I was helped by a young lady with a mask over her mouth but under her nose.. What's she doing being the only one in the whole place with a mask on? She was polite and directed me to the chairs to wait for one of the people in the offices there. I waited for about 10 minutes, and in that time, one of the ladies came out of 1 of the offices to ask me if I needed help and then never invited me into the office... just left me out there while she went back on her computer. I think they were judging me and didn't want my business I'm pretty sure. I may even report this little visit to the BBB

The people i talked to were nice. Did they accomplish anything I asked? Some of them. Was I totally satisfied? NO. Our credit cards had charges we didn't make. They did file a fraud claim for my husbands card. For mine they said it was charged on the previous card. Little did I know my card had been replaced since my current card was on the black web. I was transferred around and never did get an answer if my online account was compromised. So disappointed with a bank I've been with for so long!!! Needless to say we will be leaving this financial institution!! Smh

Wow! Was just transferred to a Lisa Hudson to inquire about a mortgage and all I could hear was the TV on in the background and someone talking in the distance. Got to love the 'Work from home' employees. Just lost my business!

What a joke - they call themselves a "community" bank! They couldn't careless about our "community." They don't even know our community. Once upon a time they were know as Coastal Bank, and WERE community focused. Then they sold out to the regional powerhouse, who knows nothing of "our community." Go elsewhere for your banking needs.

Today I have noticed to call the bank Synovous is not so good!!! They now have changed over to a A.I. system. No more people to talk with except someone on a voice system "Jammie" which is a computer!!! No humans to do business with initially while connecting to your local bank. I sure do miss the old ways when someone would ask you where would you like to be transferred. The hold time was 20 min and once I got a human on the phone of course the department was the wrong depart. Again another transfer to another department. BTW if your waiting music is the same as other big corps please choose better music! Something maybe classical and uplifting maybe might be better music choice.

Navarre location: I had an issue with my online account giving me inaccurate information, called, they said they would get back to me and never did. I walked into the office later that day to a quiet office with nobody to welcome me in. I waited awkwardly with blank stares and no acknowledgement for 5 minutes. Finally, somebody greeted me. I told them my issue, was directed to 2 other people, the third was the manager who was very rude and unprofessional to me. I have been a customer at Synovous (previously Coastal Bank and Trust) since 2007 (14 years). I had a check that said it went through on my online account, with me still having additional balance after it went through. Then, I was charged a fee the next day with a insufficient funds charge. I had more than enough money in my account and in fact pulled it all out the next day in cash. The bank did nothing about this. Turns out the online system does not give accurate information and is outdated. The customer service did nothing to accommodate the miscommunication between systems. Very disappointed and leaving Synovous immediately as they love to FEE people and not help them. I am finally debt free and taking my future investments/savings elsewhere.

We have excellent credit scores, and have been employed by the same company for at least ten years. When we started working with office, we did not know how cumbersome the process would be. The problem was when the information was requested, it is requested more than once, repeating many times (tax information for two years, five years, and again for ten years, including employment and etc....) besides information for the past was requested, they wonder how the future will fold out for us..... it's not possible for anyone to know if we will have a job tomorrow. If we provided you tax information back in two years, then five years - you don't need to contact the IRS for information for then years, because that would not guarantee the future.... That is the same for other information that we had to provide. They sent documents that often need corrections and asked us to draft letters to prove ourselves. They tried to delay our closing date by a week. This is after we already asked for leave, and prepared to drive down to Florida in a few days, hired the movers who has our furniture in the road. We believe in working smarter, but if this company cannot determine what is needed for their business.... it is hard for loan applicants to prove themselves with their future. it is also hard for anyone to repeat work and tracking anything with redundancy. We all will die one day, but our health is not good when it's time for us to be sick... I am glad my husband is still alive, just seeing him fighting for things that are not sensible because of nonsense repeats while he is not healthy makes me sick now.
