We decided to upgrade 2 of our business phones, I reached out to my old business rep who is no longer with the company. So I reached out to my old Area Manager who has helped me for many years (since 2018), since start of One Talk. I have received good service from managers and business reps over the years in the 9 Mile store. Things have certainly changed at Verizon and for the bad. My current Verizon Business rep told me anyone at a Verizon store can help me. This was more disappointing news.
On Feb 17, 2025 We made the horrible choice to enter the Verizon Store located at 5600 N 9th Ave in Pensacola FL 32504. We entered the store we saw a long bearded man who we thought may be a customer standing around. We were greeted by what appeared to be a greeter who might just take names, her name is Andrea and she said follow me, my immediate gut was, we should leave… years of life experience. We proceeded with her and said we wanted to upgrade our 2 iPhone Max Pro’s. When she began to speak, see the look on her face and the tone in her voice, I immediately told my Wife that I am not upgrading with her and I told her we should leave because Andrea wants to go home. It went downhill from there. My Wife wanted to replace her phone that night. I mentioned that business customers receive phone to phone transfers at no charge and she said that’s correct. We would have been better off ordering the phone from Apple. She never started the transfer, she put the factory sealed phone in the bag and said have a nice day. I said, “are you going to power up, test the new phone and transfer data from trade in phone to new phone? She said we don’t do data transfers with less than an hour before closing time. This would have been good to know before proceeding with upgrade… as we would’ve left immediately. She reluctantly removed the new phone from the bag and opened it and tried to start up process. She couldn’t get the phone to connect to wifi for some reason and asked if she could use my hot spot, I said sure… knowing we should cancel the order and leave but we try hard to pass the life tests the falling society deals us. This all went downhill further to the point I asked for the manager. After waiting too long I got up to find Andrea or someone to go ask for the manager. We saw Andrea talking to the bored long bearded man and laughing. I told him that I need a manager and he walked over to the desk with me. This person had been watching and listening to Andreas lack of knowledge and lack of customer service the entire time as there was evidently nothing else for him to do. To find out, he was the manager!!!! His name is Bobby Washington “Senior Manager” We know it’s hard to find good help folks but, WOW!! After a few seconds in speaking to this “manager” with his sarcastic tones and his quick to anger management style, I knew exactly where Andrea’s lack of knowledge, care, professionalism came from. It all starts at the top and he is teaching young people how best to abuse business customers and provide horrible service while hating their jobs. I asked for his card. He quickly walked away and when he finally returned with the card, he said “is there anything I can do for you” and I said NO, but I will let others know about my experience. He said “GREAT! have a nice night” sarcastically. He was so angry he was red in the face and my Wife and I both felt threatened physically.
I have never considered leaving Verizon in all my years until now. Verizon.com does a better job than these people. I have since shared my experience with others including close to the store fellow business managers who have been in and done business in the 9th Ave Verizon Store, and they all said… Oh yes, they are all horrible over there… didn’t you know that? Well now I do, and now you do as well.

Jacob at Pensacola 9th Ave location did a phenomenal job taking care of us. He was professional, personable and efficient, giving us available options for a replacement cell phone. He is an excellent troubleshooter and super knowledgeable with the products and services Verizon offers. Fantastic customer service!

Some of the worst service I have received from this place today. Steven greeted me at the door told him I needed help factory resetting my phone so I could turn it in for my upgrade. I was having issues and the phone wasn’t properly working. I guess Steven realized he wasn’t going to be making a sale off me and therefore no longer want to give me his attention. He left me at the desk to figure it out for myself and told me I’m just gonna have to call Apple support. He walked off and stood in the corner chitchatting with his coworkers. I continue to sit at the desk for another 10 minutes, trying to figure it out by myself. Until I was just mad enough to walk out the door, not a word was said to me. Let’s do better at taking care of the customers we already have .

I have never been treated so bad in my life. Didn’t even listen to what was happening and said I had to call a number, I tried explaining to him but I ended up leaving completely humiliated. Go to another store if you need help!

Attempted to update my iphone, it bugged out and is now stuck and wont recover. The lady when i walked leaning against the wall or display didnt even move, but greeted me. I explained the issue and she told me i have to goto bestbuy to fix it. Horrible customer service from my provider.
After they responded below....why should i give you another chance? i had to pay almost 200$ to fix my phone, your store didnt even attempt to fix or even look at it, just a straight dismissal to goto another store and pay money, not to mention i lost all my photos and personal stuff. I will be dropping verizon as a carrier for sure..

Every time we come in with questions they have terrible customer service. They never let you finish talking. Stephen was our helper today and literally cut both of us off every time we spoke and literally was of no help. Straight up rude. The last time we came in was 2 years ago and the young girl was an idiot. What are they even getting paid for?
