“My previous desktop computer was fried (even though it was shielded by a surge protector) when lightning struck our home. I took it to these guys, and they pronounced it DOA. After a brief memorial ceremony, they were able to rescue all of my data from it. They also had a refurbished computer on site that was several generations newer than my recently deceased unit. They sold it to me at a very reasonable price and transferred all of my data from the old computer to this new one. The next day, I had a computer with much more memory and processing power (so it's faster) up and running at home. This new(er) computer has been working well for about a year now.
