This is an out of the way gem! Beautiful property and Terri is a perfectionist in keeping the barn and tack rooms clean and organized. Lots of big fans to keep horses and people cool. Music always playing. No drama. The farm is self sustainable, so they use everything that comes from the earth i.e., bahai grass and hay, planted rye grass in the winters. Sam is a third generation master trainer. Maddie, the daughter, runs the operations along side Sam and Terry. The pastures are massive and each stall has an attached paddock for your horse to go in and out of his or her stall freely. I drive an hour to get there, but it’s worth it bc I have complete trust in how they care for my horse when I’m not there. They also have a successful trail riding business and have 20 to 30 horses. I want to add that I have not seen one horse out there that is overweight nor do I see ribs showing. The stalls are always clean. These folks really know what they are doing. And lastly, the price to board is right!

This was a wonderful time with my two daughters for Mother’s Day. This is a fantastic place to ride and relax. Terri and Sam really care about their horses. They take time to make sure you are comfortable with the horse before riding. I highly recommend this place and we will be back for another ride.

Our guide Madison was the best. She was personable, helpful and knowledgeable. The horses were well cared for and followed commands extremely well. Ty for a great day out on the trails.

My girlfriend and I had a blast. The staff is very nice, accommodating, and supportive of new riders like myself. Overall a great and fun experience. Horses were pretty well behaved and not aggressive and our guid was very enjoyable to talk to.

Terry and Annette were so professional, knowledgeable and helpful. They made sure I knew how to ride by first letting me ride the horse in the ring and gave me detailed instructions. We went on the trail ride that was so beautiful and peaceful. I have been on many horseback trails with many companies but this one is THE BEST by far!

I visited a lot of stables over the years but this one is absolutely on the top of all, these people are really nice. They let me ride fast of course after they tried me. This stable stays deep in my heart and I will return every time when I’m in this area again

Very beautiful, family owned stables with 120 acres of trail riding through forest paths, or clear, grassy openings with breathtaking view. My daughter and I went together. There were two instructors that stayed with us the whole ride. Very friendly, we chatted the whole ride. We started out first in a round-pen walking and trotting the horses to get use to them and learn how and what cues the horses are trained.Hands down, one of the best places to ride!Thank you Lacy, the beautiful, well behaved horse I had the pleasure of riding! ?

I had a wonderful time at Deep Creek Stables celebrating my birthday. I will definitely be back to enjoy another horseback riding adventure. The family that owns the stable couldn't be nicer people. Terry and daughter Madison were professional, super friendly and chatted with us along the trail ride. They made us feel comfortable with the horses and gave us a quick crash course on how to ride. When my daughter asked to go on a trial ride for her 10th birthday, I had no idea how much we both would enjoy the whole experience. The horses were calm and mellow. The trails throughout the property were beautiful. The guides were very kind and accommodating. They made us feel like we were right at home. I’ve been on other trail rides before and they don’t even come close. I would recommend Deep Creek Stables to anyone and everyone! Looking forward to next time!

Had a awesome time riding horses today!!! Madison and Terry were amazing guides and helpful... The horses were calm and worked well with us... Great trails and scenery on our ride... A must do!!! Worth it!!! Thanks for the great experience ... Definitely recommend

Me and my boyfriend had a great time! Both Sam and Terri were lovely people and super nice! My boyfriend horse swazy loved him so we will defintely have to come back!
