Chickens were horribly mistreated and in terrible condition. She said she was feeding them hourse pellets and dog food. They were in a small pen with just dry dirt. Most of their backs were fatherless and bleeding. We resqued 4 to get them out of there. One died the 2nd day.

What a wonderful place. The owners are so nice. We bought chickens and donated chickens and food. First visit they had just rescued a horse. He was so skinny and in need of much care. Three months later we returned and the same horse looked so so much better. You should donate.

Took my homeschooler there to put in some volunteer time. Julie was great with my daughter and shared her knowledge of farm life and horse handling. Great hands on learning. There are many other animals there: friendly farm dogs, cats, donkey, mule, bulls and ducks. They sell hay, eggs and chicks and welcome RVers. Campsites include electric and water. They also give riding lessons.
