“We LOVE Golden Hour Wine. We have been in the Classics for a Reason wine club for the last year and thoroughly enjoy tasting the thoughtfully and creatively curated selections. We lived near Napa before we moved to Orlando and had quite a taste for California wine. Thankfully, Golden Hour has awaked our palates to wine from other parts of the world. We have tried many beautiful French wines, we had two lovely Sicilian ones last month and this month there is a highly coveted Canadian wine in the bunch. Golden Hour has quite a few partnerships with local restaurants. We ate at Soseki last year and they had a beautiful wine pairing that was recommended by Heather- it was so good we had to go to the store to buy another for home. You can walk in and do a tasting or buy a glass, and they often have pop-up events with little bites served. There are some member-only events as well which we've not yet been able to attend but hope to in the near future.”

Jason was absolutely incredible, we got to talking about preferences and he made some great selections for me. I surprised my wife with 3 bottles and we loved every one of his recommendations. “Royal Liquor is a great small business. It is located on the corner within the small Altamonte Springs shopping center called Boulevard Plaza on Altamonte Dr. I ended up visiting Royal Liquor on a whim. I was actually stopping by a neighboring store in the plaza-a store that I frequently stop at for quick purchases. I never had the need, or in this case, the opportunity, to stop by any other business in the plaza. However, this particular night, I had taken an Uber to my destination. It was supposed to wait for me, seeing as my purchase was supposed to be quick. I am usually in and out of the store in less than 3 or 4 minutes, so I decided to book a round trip Uber ride, which would normally mean that the car would wait for me while at my stop, then take me back home after- without having to book another ride and wait for the driver again. Unfortunately, the line was oddly long on this particular trip, causing my Uber driver to cancel the ride, leaving me stranded in the parking lot when I exited the store.Needless to say, I ordered another ride to get home, but because it was pretty late at night, the wait for my ride was way longer than I expected.Instead of sitting in the dark on a curb by myself, I decided to stroll around the plaza to check out what other stores were there, and to see if anything was still open.Luckily, I quickly discovered Royal Liquors at the end of the plaza. The employee was friendly and helpful. He immediately greeted me when I walked in and asked if I needed help finding anything.I decided to browse around. I was so impressed with the cleanliness of the store, as well as the neatly organized merchandise. They have a surprisingly huge collection of products. I noticed their wide variety of brands, flavors, and sizes.If you stop in to look for a specific product, not only will this store most likely have it in stock, it will also be quick and easy to find.The best part of this liquor store, however, are the incredibly affordable prices!I am so glad that I stopped by this store, and I will definitely be back in the future. I highly recommend it for any of your alcohol and party supply needs!”
“Modest is me and my husband's go-to wine shop! We drive from South Orlando to grab a few bottles from Kyle on a weekly basis. He's an amazing resource and has never once steered us wrong when it comes to recommendations. He's opened our palettes to a lot of interesting options outside of our comfort zone like varietals from Germany and upstate New York that we wouldn't have otherwise tried, but have loved! Definitely one of our favorite local businesses!”

“Spectacular, friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable staff. This store is HUGE! It's the largest spirits store that I have ever been in. The selection of wines and liquors is incredible. When I first rolled into the parking lot and noticed the size of the building, I really figured that their prices were going to be out of this world. Surprisingly enough they weren't. From everything that I noticed, they're on par or maybe even a bit less than some of their competitors. Parking was easy. Their lot is fairly large and there's parking in the old Montgomery Wards' lot. I'll definitely look to them again.”

“It's always a bit of a challenge for me to order sparkling wine for friends in Florida as I live in the UK. I found The Liquor Library and Wine Market and although the first bottle I selected was out of stock the next one I ordered was available and was delivered exactly as promised without an enormous delivery charge. I will definitely use them again.”
“Decent selections, reasonable prices ; just wish there was a better rewards program. 5 points premium selections, 10 points for house brands. Unfortunately, the options for the higher rewards are not in my area of interest. So to reach a level to enjoy the best benefits I would have to spend twice as much or purchase items I don't use.. customers loyalty should be rewarded on a level platform. I do understand the desire to push is your brands but let's use a hypothetical scenario. (I purchase a 250 bottle of widow Jane 15 and receive 5 points or a $17 bottle of an in house bottle and receive 10 points) remember this is for illustration purposes without explaining the entire rewards program. Most of the items I enjoy are in the vault, so to enjoy what I desire I have to shop elsewhere because every year I'm a few dollars short of reaching that rewarding level. A revamped program that was more inclusive would bring substantially more revenue to ABC and add an additional star to this review!”

“I can't taste the food because I don't think there was any. Dan was a wonderful host. I heard him being patient and helpful with many people, some of which had clearly had a beverage or two already. Atmosphere is OK, plenty of screens playing whatever Euro futbol event is going on now. Lots of variety to drink and bring home. They do have wine as well as beer. Saw someone buy a plant there which threw me off for a minute. Turns out all the plants there, hanging or on your table, are for sale. I marked that I spent $30-$50 but keep in mind that includes over $20 in carryout beer for later.
Parking: Cross your fingers asks drive the neighborhood.
Kid-friendliness: I wouldn't bring my kids because I think they'd be bored witless but others did.”
