Picked up a supposed Tira misu cake. It was extremely dry and had no taste. Quite awful!

Always a great stop for a shot of coffee or quick bite. Staff is usually nice and food on par with other more popular and crowded cuban cafes. You can't go wrong stopping in to get your fix.

Excellent service. I always stop by after work to get my coffee and pastry on my way home. Since you step in the store, all of the ladies have a big smile on their faces, specially Xiomara. I will definitely recommend this bakery and of course, i will continue to stop by every day after work.

I ordered and they gave me the wrong pastry and when I indicated that, the attitude was like I was inconveniencing them. So even though I already had paid for a sandwich and the pastry, I left before getting my sandwich because I didn’t trust them making my sandwich at this point. I will have to go to another bakery from now on or live without. This is a second incident I have had here this month.

CAO Bakery & Cafe will never see my money. We pulled a ticket and waited for oue turn. A little background this was an all cuban cafe and heavy on Spanish speaking. I digress. Another spanish came behind us and pulled a ticket. A Spanish worker looked me dead in my face and then looked at the Spanish couple and took their order. After she rung them up she then ask if she can help us. I asked her if there was a reason she took the couple behind us before us. She tried to say it was because of their ticket in which I showed her our ticket was before theirs. Her and another worker start speaking in Spanish. (Another reason I want to learn Spanish). I then say it is looking like because we are black we were not served and because of that we don’t spend money where we were discriminated against.

Worst Tiramisu I’ve ever had. They shouldn’t be calling it Tiramisu. It’s more like dried out cake drenched in coffee with a pound of bad chocolate powder on top. Please do

I just waited 20 minutes for someone to take my order (1pm on Wednesday). The girl at the counter looked at me and walked to the back. No one ever came back. Mind you the place was empty. I tried to wave at them and nothing. I went to Pincho next door which was really good. The food here is fine and so is the layout but not great enough to wait that long.

Hi everyone and Happy Friday! Well I decided to check out CAO today as it is right across from The Spot (awesome barber by the way) as I was in a pastelito and coffee mood. Came to find out that this bakery is owned by the same owners as Vicky Bakery but this place has a totally different vibe. Seems a little higher quality from my perspective. Anyway, the staff were super nice and the baked goods, especially the pastelitos were amazing. Fresh, warm and delicious! Maybe it's just me but way better than some I have had in a long while. Pair it up with a latte aka "Cafe con Leche" and you have the makings of a winning combination! . Seriously it was very good and if you want to kick it up a notch have them prepare your Latte or Cortadito with evaporated milk instead of the usual stuff. Yea its more calories but hey live a little! Can't speak for the cakes and other goodies but man they all looked great and I suspect are just as good. Have not been to any other CAO locations yet but the one in Pinecrest was great. So if you find yourself having a Latin pastry craving, check them out as I don't think you will be disappointed. Enjoy and Bon Appétit m'es amis!

Every time we go to Miami we stop at the Pine-crest store. We love the food and take plenty back to the Treasure Coast. Highly recommended.
