Got a used tired put on because they said they couldn’t patch the spot I had. Driving home the tire was wobbly and the next day this is how the tire looked. Wish I hadn’t stopped by for a patch.

Safety Last*
This is only my 2nd negative review out of 20+ reviews, so I don't do it unless it's deserving, and when it comes to lack of safety, I have to say something.
I had 4 tires installed. It had a brand new paint job and chrome rims. He comes back with 1 tire to install, and he put the balancing weights on the outside of the chrome rim. I told him that I didn't think I had to mention this, but these are Chrome rims, so I like the ugly weights mounted on the inside of the expensive rims, please.
He became aggressive because he had to do it over again, and in his haste, he bumped my Fender, taking it off and put a chip in my brand new paint job. I spoke to his manager to ask him to tell the man to take it easy. So, long story short, he did not put the lug nuts back on any more than just hand tight. Being a professional Tire man, I can only assume he did that on purpose because I made him go back and do the job right and told his manager on him.
When it comes to the safety of me and my family, that is 100% unacceptable. It took a day to realize that there was a problem as the lug nuts became looser. I went back and spoke to the manager, and I asked him if he would take that tire back off and inspect it. The manager insisted that it's not the tire or the rim or the balancing and that I have a different problem, it's your tie rods. I told him it didn't ride like that when I brought it in. So can you just please take that tire off and see if there's a problem. He confidently refused and explained to me that he's been doing this for 30 years, and he knows these cars and that tie rods are the problem.
So I immediately went to Pep Boys just down the street. I asked them if they could just take that tire off first, and he said the problem is all five lug nuts are loose, and I'm surprised your wheel didn't fly off while you were driving. The man at Pep Boys tightened all five lug nuts, took it on a road test, and it drove beautifully.
So fair warning if you value the safety of yourself and your loved ones either watch them like a hawk as they work on your car or just go to Pep Boys or anywhere else. The manager was more interested in making more money off of me than listening to the customers' needs. If he listened to me, he would have figured out immediately what the professionals at Pep Boys did, and he could have learned something about his employees' work and how he could improve. Instead, he cared more about making more money, so now he's learning the hard way.

I've been going there with my 1997 Chevy Silverado and my 2016 Dodge journey for years. I like the fact that the owner is always there. The guys do great work and good prices. Highly recommend them ,fast service.
