This company has been the worst to work with. For the last year it's been a nightmare. As patient as I was with the pandemic it was still difficult to work with them. I purchased thousands of dollars with this company and I regret it today. One item I purchased was a living room set. The first set I received I ended up sending it back. The material looked old and dingy. After receiving the second set but in a different style I'm still having problems. The material had worn out in less than 3 months. It was delivered to me around 8 months ago however I was not in the state to enjoy it. After calling the manager Mark at the Pinellas Park location and trying to explain my frustration he HUNG UP on me. I than requested upper management, which turned out to be the owner (family business) Tom Matter. Totally the rudest person I have dealt with when it comes to business. I WILL NOT purchase from this place again and I wish I would have looked at the previous reviews. I would have not shopped there. I'm waiting now to see what the outcome of this disaster will be? Since I have to rate something to summit, I gave it 1 but if I could I would rate 0 Stay tuned !!!!!

07/15/21_This is not actually a compliment but an 'ALERT'. I purchased a sofa on 5/27/21 made in VIETNAM. It felt nice on the floor and style looks great. Since owning this sofa the foam insulation has gotten softer. So 'soft' that I am beginning to feel the springs on the seat and along the front stitching the springs are making a more prominent line. I stopped by the store today to ask if I had any 'options'. NO...this sofa has 'NO WARRANTY'. My Review is to "WARN" other Buyers NOT TO BUY THIS SOFA. It will be a waste of your money. Like they always tell you, 'you get what you pay for'. I do like Matter Brothers Outlet and their Employees, they don't do the buying, only sell what the Brothers Buy. I feel that any items being bought by US Stores from Vietnam & maybe even China to Be Aware of the 'Quality'. Maybe if they offer a Return Warranty would I ever feel comfortable buying from those countries.

I was there early AM and they were fantastic. So friendly, kind and helpful. Not pushy. Sale was smooth and found 2/3 things I was looking for. Great prices. And they scheduled delivery through a company who was also fantastic.

Great deals on merchandise. They don't follow you around, but you have to hunt them down if you have a question.

Our family just moved to the area and we were pleasantly greeted by Sheri and the rest of the staff. We left with a very good impression on the store thanks to Ms. Sheri! The store has a great selection of furniture pieces and great prices! We will definitely visit again!!

I love that the store has a variety of items to select from. My sales associate Sheri was awesome. She's personable, friendly and easy to work with. No high pressure selling here! Great staff great selections great experience!

Pricey but a lot of bright outdoor decor. Was interested in an outdoor surfboard table with stools. Paid for the item and was about to load it up in my vehicle, when someone else asked what we were doing as it was already sold. Very disappointed, a but unorganized but I guess these things happen. I looked online. The company that makes these tables is in Sarasota. I ordered from them directly an it will be delivered to my home within 5 days for $500 cheaper.

Husband and I bought a bedroom set , love it and fortunately we’ve had no problems with the furnitute itself but we we were promised a delivery date which was very important as I was coming home from the hospital after brain surgery, my poor husband had to spend the entire morning making several trips ( he has a small truck) to go get mattress and entire frame, large dresser and two night stands, not what you should have to do on the day brain surgery patient finally coming home, it was very stressful........ The other thing we bought (which I guess we should have known better) is a large expensive table and 4 chairs, it is real wood but around the entire edge of table it’s like the coating is complete melt gone , it’s in several other areas also , it’s gotten so bad that after about a year and a half we just cover it with table cloths, so dad, this should not happen with an expensive table, I could not be any more disappointed, it’s too bad beacause I loved their selection but never again....

Well I am crossing my fingers with my order, I see they have 16 bad reviews with BBB....On 2/5/21 I ordered sofa, chair, swivel chair coffee table, then went back a week later and purchased 2 very expensive lamps & end tables, because i was told upon placing the first order my original order would be in the first week of march, then the 2nd week of march, i received a call saying everything is in except the sofa, that will now be end of may, so obviously i was upset, i know Covid has threw a loop into manufacturing, but that was a large gap in the promised time, i went back and cancelled my order and asking for a refund on the lamps and tables i had purchased to match all the furniture and i was told they charge a 30% stocking fee and i could only get a store credit, yes i was even more furious, so i had to keep what i brought home, cancelled the order and asked for a refund, i put $1800 down on the original order and got $1720.00 for the refund, they said it was a tax error from adding the 2nd order. so a few days go by and i literally checked every furniture store in town and couldn't find the style i liked anywhere, i called back up and re-ordered the same original order, i was asked to put $2244.86 down, oh and i asked is the delivery still end of May? no i got pushed back to the end of June, you would think with all the hassle they would've put me back in line, then i get a call later that day asking for another $254.93 so this is a total of $2499.79 i had to put down this time and not the $1800 like the first go around, the system here at Matter Bros is not customer friendly at all, my actual sales person was and is great, but the others when he was out of the store that i dealt with were not customer friendly at all, and it took 30 mins and 2 people to figure out the refund from the first order. this whole ordeal has been a nightmare as i've gotten rid of all my old furniture in hopes of getting the new and it's looking like i'll need a prayer and some luck that they get this order right and delivered sometime within the next few months
