I would like to give a NEGATIVE Score. My only weekday off and they told me my car here at 11:30 am and it it 3:15 pm and I am stuck carless walking around Plant City FL which is horrible. I had a hair appointment I had to cancel and my hair did not get cut. I am still sitting waiting on imaginary tires, which by the way, they also ordered the wrong. And yes I'm still waiting. Obviously, my time means nothing to this company. Are they going to pay me for my missed day of work. Worst company ever. GO SOMEWHERE ELSEIt made me give a star proceed but I give it less than ZERO

I'm amazed at how this shop manages to stay in business.A couple months ago I had an 8:00 am appointment for an oil change, I got there at 7:50 and when doors opened I was told it would be an hour and a half until they could get to it....Fast forward to today, I had a 9:00 am appointment for 2 tires. I ordered tires last Thursday and made appointment for today for install and rotate rears to front with new tires on rear.Waited 1 hour for my truck to be pulled into shop, waited another hour for tires to be changed. So at 11+ am I pay for tires and go to my truck and new tires are on the front, not the rear that I told manager to put them.Never again will I do business with this company.

This place is awful! All they do is lie! Talking to the guy at the front desk (manager) and he told me their staff is all undereducated and not tested/certified before hired, which did not make me feel safe about getting my vehicle done there. When I left, they only put rotors and brakes on the front of my vehicle when I paid for them all the way around. I had to come back and wait another 4 hours for them to do it again. While there, several others were also in the waiting area and mentioned they were there due to mess ups on their vehicles. Also, I watched a few people walk into the store and were never greeted or helped - waited 10-15 minutes and left without being acknowledged. This is a poor excuse for a business. I will never be back!! I called corporate to resolve my issues and they just wanted to argue. Stay as far away from this place as possible. Or just go across the street to Total Car Care. Much better service and straight forward.Update: Although it doesn’t change the experience I had above… the manager of the store, Bernie Leveson, called me after hours and apologized for what happened and has reconciled the issue. That was greatly appreciated - especially since the regional manager wouldn’t even hear me out. If you do go to Mavis, I highly recommend asking for Bernie as he’s the only guy I’d work with. Very understanding and genuine guy.

They put tires on my car a few months back, few days later my car was shaking & vibrating when I would press my breaks. I took it back to have it check, they said I needed a wheel bearing, got that fixed. Months later my car is still shaking. Fast forward to July, I go in for oil change an tell them to please check my tires for shaking, they tell me my rim is bent from the inside. I wasn’t physically shown it was bent, I ended up taking it back yesterday, 8/20 on a Sunday. I spoke with Dave, the assistant manager, I explained to him how long the issue has been going on, I told him the car went to another mechanic an showed me the rim wasn’t bent. I went back to Mavis for confirmation of it being bent since I wasn’t shown physically from here. Dave got upset, said a few words told me to pull into the garage, once I pull into the garage he flailing his arms up, talking bad to the tech about what’s going on. Once they showed me it’s bent, I tried to explain to him this issue has been happening since my tires were put on. I explained I can’t bend it from inside, I explained I haven’t hit potholes, nothing. The car sat for 3 days after tires were put on. I said maybe the machine bent it from taking it off. Dave had an attitude the entire time, said they’re machines can’t cause damage. Which it can, mistakes happen. Long story short, I called corporate to make a complaint, the regional manager JOE called me back, asking me what I want, I explained to him Dave was rude and spoke badly to the tech an Joe said “Well the tech doesn’t speak English so he wouldn’t understand” .. what? I’m sorry but what? After arguing with me for about 7 mins on the phone with an attitude,I asked Joe if there’s a solution an he said no he only called to explain things. What things needed to be explained? The rim can’t be bent by a metal machine? That your assistant manager is rude? I can’t believe the conversation we had, I will be calling corporate again. Joe didn’t apologize, didn’t say anything about the way I was treated. After having 4 tires, new brakes & a wheel barring, I’ll go somewhere else for maintenance. I will be cancelling our credit card. Very unprofessional & lack of compassion for customers. It’s my safety going down the road, I’m surprised this company doesn’t back their work.

I was skeptical of this location because everytime I call to make an appointment they a booked days in advance. I booked the appointment anyways and I was super impressedwith the service I received. Now I understand what they are booked days in advance love this place and I will be back. Dave and Paul are the best in Plant City.

I needed multiple issues addressed including brakes, oil change and a/c charge. The crew at Mavis completed this work shortly after I arrived. I left relieved to have the repairs completed and a month later, no issues. I have no hesitation in recommending Mavis Tires and Brakes in Plant City. Customer service made the experience easy.

I called for an appointment and got in the next morning. It was a clean and friendly atmosphere and my brake repairs were completed in an appreciated time frame. I thought I might need new tires, but was told that I had another year before that would be necessary. That was refreshing! I went to Mavis based on a friend’s recommendation and I will pass that on to others. Good business and good people.

10/10 would recommend this place. I hit a pothole and my car immediately started shaking and I’m not a fan of repetitive sounds or movement so it was driving me crazy! They had a fast, easy solution AND it was very affordable! Thank you!

I took my car to Tire Kingdom and they literally kept it all day and told me as I was heading to pick it up that nothing was done to it. That they wouldn't change the pads because I needed rotors too. I took my car into Mavis yesterday after being able to set an appointment online (which is amazing), and they had me in and out with in an hour and a half. They were nice, professional, and they charged me for both rotors AND pads, half of what Tire Kingdom was trying to charge me for just the pads. With the money I saved I was able to take my kids out to dinner, get new wiper blades, get a car wash, and an oil change. Y'all just got a loyal customer
