I found a dress today that was perfect for an upcoming wedding that I’m going to. When I was trying it on, I noticed a dime sized spot on it which looked like blue ink. I asked the dressing rooms attendant to see if there was a way for them to look and see if there were any more dresses like that in my size. She told me to go look on the rack and if there wasn’t and I still wanted it, they would take a 10% discount off at the register. When I got to the checkout, I asked the cashier if there was a way to see if they had any more of the same dress in the same size. She called over her manager, who said “ Whatever is on the rack is what we have”. So I Told her what the dressing room attendant said about the discount. The manager said “ We don’t give discounts”. This was wild to me, considering that it’s the last item like that and it was damaged. Why would I pay full price for an item that is damaged. This is a typical thing for retail stores to do. Aside from that, I had already been told that I could get a discount on the item. I told the manager that she should make sure that her employees are aware of that as it’s not right to be told something by one employee only to be told something else by another. She got on her walkie and called her dressing room attendant out. She turned to me and said “there, I told her”. I asked if she would honor the discount since that is what I was told and she said no. It’s crazy to me that a manager wouldn’t want to make the sale as there was still a profit to be made and risk losing a customer. Awful customer service.

Hate to be a negative Nancy, but I'm tired and sick of the excuses: "COVID, supply chain issues, understaffed, it's the holiday season, etc." Honestly it's everywhere, not just Marshalls --- everywhere seems to have low quality, high priced, minimal selection, poorly kept stores with at best sub-par customer service. And this has gone on for too long. In addition to my aforementioned list, I noticed during this particular trip to Marshalls there was an associate wearing legit pajama pants, a wrinkled cotton tee shirt, and her hair was beyond askew....I would've bet money she literally rolled out of bed and went straight to her shift without looking in so much as her rearview mirror. Just an utter lack of self respect, dignity, and care overall. Bah humbug.

They need to lower prices on pots and kitchen items, they also need to bring a better variety of clothing.

Great selection of items, staff is nice, but overworked...same reason the Shoe rack area is Always in Kaos...dang bus loads of mirant workers come in 5 bus loads at a time and tear the place apart.Avoid Friday/ pay day, and You Good.

This Marshall's has a competitor right next door, and it seems like they took that personally. The shelves are stocked, the store is clean, and the product mix is solid.

Great back to school and work options. Not wide variety of bathsuits I was hoping for but maybe it's due to the time of year.
