Plant City Animal Hospital is a great place to take your pet. If you're looking a vet office that cares, isn't alarmist, and is fair and open about pricing, check this place out. My cat ginger hadn't been feeling well for the last few days. She's rarely sick and figured a visit to the vet was due. I called and made an appointment for 2:20 pm on Thursday. Early Thursday, I called to check on any cancellations but there were none. However, I was told to come in at 1 pm and if they could squeeze me in, they would do their best. I arrived at 1 pm and got checked in. Haley at the front desk was kind and welcoming. She got me all checked in and I waited. I ended up being seen early around 1:30 pm. Everyone I dealt with was super kind and was very clear and up-front about pricing and what they would do care-wise. They were delicate, kind, and soothing to my cat. They made sure she was calm and distracted. I've never seen my cat so quiet and non-squirmy. I was given peace-of-mind of my cat's health, I wasn't bombarded with product endorsements and I wasn't panicked with a bunch of costly tests or overnight observations. Everything, including medicine, was under $200. If you're looking for a vet, look no further. I highly recommend Plant City Animal Hospital.

I've been searching for that "vet" that cares in plant city for about a year before I found Dr. Wicker. I regret seeing another vet in town, but it was a learning experience. Thank God for Dr. Wicker. Hope he never retires. He's the best all around. Love him.

I have been taking my 2 dogs there for over 10 years. All charges are carefully explained and the care is conservative but thorough. The vet is gentle and the staff is helpful and friendly.

Dr. Wicker has been my families vet since 2008 when we moved here from Hawaii. He has an amazing staff that are knowledgeable and very helpful. Dr. Wicker answers all your question truthfully and no matter how silly you think they are. I won't ever move to another vet
