The store is big and well organized but I was really unhappy that they only had 2 copies of the brand new release Oathbound but had stacks and stacks on Onyx Storm which had already been out for several weeks. I wish the store would give more shelf space and prominence to BIPOC authors. It's partly why I am trying to shop more at independent bookstores that feature a greater variety of voices.

A front worker behind the desk was very rude today 1/30/25. There were people cutting in line and when my fiance spoke up about it, the asian worker lady with glasses snapped back at her. The worker even apologized to the people cutting in line. Honestly, I don't see how that attitude or behavior is acceptable, especially when it's just asking for people to be fair and abide by the line created. I spoke with 1 other person who was also in line earlier than me and they also said the asian lady with glasses was rude to them. As you can tell, my last name is Vietnamese. This is not a race based prejudice.

They have a Starbucks at the center of the store. This is the only place where you can sit down in the store. They have tables set up around the area where they make the coffee.

Went to the Ft Lauderdale store to buy the Barbra Streisand vinyl reissue. They referred me to Broward Mall, where they held a copy for me.

The overall setup of the store was nice. The books were presented nicely. The lady's restroom had no paper towels, and even though they had air dryers, they are super germy. The cashier was great! Cashier #0838 on register 010 was a book lover and was very customer service minded. She was knowledgeable about the books we were buying.

Barnes and nobles has a great atmosphere and fosters a passion for reading. Every book I’ve ever purchased is way overpriced compared to Amazon or target unfortunately

Excellent customer service. visited a friend and wanted to gift her young doughter something to develop her beautiful little mind. I sked for some instruction, and the young lady helping me went above and beyond. B&N old school, let's keep them in business

I love the store, but they were playing the most awful music that was irritating to the ear. Their person that picks their music should pick something that is subtle and not abusive to the ear I had to leave the store we were about to buy two books and I could not even concentrate simply because of the if you will bad white noise

Such a horrible store. The ceiling is missing some tiles, there’s always ONE worker at a time at the cafe, and the manager is always missing. And why is the store so short staffed?! I would have to wait sooooo long to get help. The store needs a better manager and more staffing, especially in the cafe.
