“A great place for speciality food one desires to eat and pay a premium price for. Sales do exist but the prices are still up there. I believe the quality is superior beyond the "red" meat choices which are plentiful. Good desserts. Good friendly service. And a reward program that is just a slight perk. It's worth (for me) going there from time to time for certain items (to save from cooking). You'll never be disappointed. All their stuff is good.”

“Roti- over the years, just as delicious, low salt, no pork, tasty, sugar cane sweetened natural drinks, more seat-in boots added, small inside, hard to find Caribbean products & vegetables on store next door which is accessible from the inside. The toilet is unisex and very small. If I were in a wheelchair I would never fit in there. Nice for the price, delicious Trinidadian fast foods. Fast service.”

“Very old school Italian deli. Reminds me of something you would have found on Arthur avenue in the Bronx back in the 70’s. Traditional Italian sandwiches, chicken cutlets, meatballs and much more. “As I had thoughts of making a sauerkraut artoffelklöße, I needed some good pork chops to go with it, which lead me to Omaha Steaks. While there, not only did I find some of the most beautiful pork chops I've ever come across, but also some of the best filet mignon, and believe this, some of the best Lobster Bisque I've ever had. That was an unexpected but wonderfully surprising find. I now have three Favorite places to shop for meat. Smitty's Old Fashioned Butcher Shop of Coral Ridge, Wild Fork, and now, Omaha Steaks.”
“Was recommend this place by a friend. If you want a good price:value ratio on meats, YES, def come here. The other items (dry goods, cheese, etc.) are a bit pricey but are there for convenience. It's not a convenience store, so don't expect snacks, alcohol or tobacco. Accepts all forms of payment and very friendly/helpful. My new go-to.”

“Honey baked ham is really good. We usually get one for thanksgiving & Christmas family meals. Way easier (and better) than cooking the turkey all day.Get it 3-4 days early and avoid the line (which can get huge). The 1st year I went the day before and there was a huge line, police for crowd. Just craziness. People REALLY like these hams. And they are very good.The Fort Lauderdale store is easier to get in and out of than the store out west.”

“Despite the impressive food display, my experience was marred by subpar customer service. I waited 15 minutes, trying to get the attention of one of the many staff members. Meanwhile, two men were checking out, and another, who arrived 15 minutes after me and another lady walked by in front of us, and received immediate assistance from an employee who dropped her task to assist him. After he left, I tried again to place my order, but the same employee abruptly cut me off. As a previous restaurant manager with 10 years of experience, this establishment seemed super overstaffed... I I was surprised by the way they took their jobs for granted.
Ironically, I left my own kitchen to visit yours, seeking a convenient and satisfying meal. Instead, I ended up buying the ingredients to make my own soup...
Besides that, I'm consistently impressed with this grocery store - the cashiers are incredibly friendly, and the store itself is always super clean and well-organized!”

“I visited the KrazyVeagan Restaurant that is located in this 7th Ave Village and I purchased the Special burger with grill onions, onion rings with a special sauce. All I can say OMG! It was the best. Can't wait to visit again and try hard to purchase, but try the other foods on the menu. ?? I singing the Campbell soup song, hmmm, hmmm good!!! The staff was nice too.”

“Aldi lover here, traveling and we made sure to stop at Aldi in Ft. Lauderdale. They had a cool cat treat/toy advent calendar that I’d never seen anywhere, even on the Aldi AOS group, and the matching cast iron braiser with the lid in the beautiful olive minty green color.
I also seen some additional variety to foods and what not which I liked. The Aldi isle did not disappoint.
This store is also much larger than any Aldi I’ve shopped at. We stocked up on road snacks.”
“They almost always have some kind of buy one get one free on chicken and ground beef. Tho when u walk past the fish area into the freezer section it smells awful but other then that I love the meat and produce”

The one star is for I've seen some knives that are placed with their sharp fronts are exposed in the way and they could potentially be a safety hazard. Otherwise though, very friendly cashier, clean store with variety of selections and almost none of them was expired.”

“I first discovered Dutchy’s shortly after they opened many years ago and I quickly became a regular customer. Although I enjoyed a variety of products over the years, in addition to the occasional, delicious in-store sit-down meal, my staple items were boerewors, droëwors, biltong and my favorite white wine, Chenin Blanc. The quality is consistently outstanding and I also love the warm atmosphere in the store. Natasha and Izak are great persons with an always friendly supporting staff. Unfortunately, I don’t see them much anymore since moving quite far away a few years ago but whenever I have an opportunity to visit my children, who live in the greater Fort Lauderdale area, a trip to Plantation is a must.”
