I used to go to the PETCO on Broward Blvd. IN Plantation, FL. THAT was a great store with cat food on sale regularly and a friendly staff also!! I loved going there.
It had a comfortable pet loving feel and felt like Christmas there regularly.
That store was across the street from the MALL, TARGET and a few good restaurants. It was a very good location.
This PETCO store closed and opened on University Drive in Davie, FL. That was not a good idea.
I've only been there once. It is more expensive and the staff is not as nice as the staff was in the store in Plantation.
I don't know why PETCO moved to Davie, FL. There is a problem with parking near the Davie store too because it's a very busy shopping plaza.
The other location in Plantation had better parking.
Sometimes it's better to leave things the way they are especially when people like the store and the prices are reasonable as well.

don’t bother on coming here. this place lacks of customer service. you practically have to beg for someone to take care of you & when you do they come at you with a attitude. you’re not allowed to see the animals unless you’re going to buy it. smh

I am so disappointed in the grooming. I’ve been routinely getting my dogs groomed there since she was a puppy. I did the desensitizing treatments and get her groomed as often as possible. Since she was in heat the last 2 months, she was shaggier than usually this trip. The groomer didn’t seem like she wanted to help us at all. I was disappointed when I dropped her off with the customer service. When I picked her up, the groomer said she was hard to work with (first time over heard that). I got home and multiple of my dog’s toes are covered in blood. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.

took my dog to see Dr Davila my dog was not diagnose correctly Dr Davila cost me were i had to take my pet elsewhere and accumilated another bill for 847.00 i do not recommend on taking your pet here they are not equip with knowledge and background to provide top tier care.so unprofessional and it shows from management on down

Vet service was rushed, and initial staff were not ready for clients with appointments. Staff at the previous site were better trained.

do not take your pet here, in my experience this place just milked me for money and didn’t even fix what was wrong with my dog for four weeks until i had to take him somewhere else and they fixed it IN ONE VISIT for around $150-200. And he didn’t have some complicated illness he had an eye ulcer, could’ve lost his eye btw and they, for over four sessions, milked us of $800 with like 9 medications for an eye ulcer???? These people either don’t know how to treat animals properly or they just want your money, either way don’t go here you’re better off somewhere else

Hello good afternoon I came into Petco today to purchase some reptile supplies when I had came across the snakes I was horrified of what I had seen the humidity was completely off for the ball pythons and they were all shedding too as well . Their skin was raw and completely stuck and I had seen signs of scale rot on one of the snakes and I was completely saddened. I spoke to one of the workers and he didn’t seem to care and said “he doesn’t work with snakes”. So I politely told him what the issue was that I seen and made a recommendation for him since I work at an animal clinic so I know these things . After that I bought my items . But this is an awful position for petco to hire people with zero knowledge on animals or even a hint of passion . I don’t recommend anyone coming to this store to support this company for their poor behavior or employees. If I could I would take all the snakes from such an awful environment. Pls do better .

When I was there last... The cashier went above and beyond to help me with a flea collar. The main reason why I've been back out there.
