The most unprofessional budget car rental location. This lady Was taking on the phone joking around with her friends , hanging outside in her car listening to music . Meanwhile customers are in the office waiting for service and also she had a nasty attitude and is very rude. She was not helpful at all , made us do more then one reservation and still turned away because she said chime credit wasn’t accepted but it is accepted in all locations. This lady was the most horrible customer service representative, we ever encountered. At the airport there was no issues even with the same Company the chime credit was accepted. This lady just didn’t wanna do a good job and doesn’t care about providing good service. She should find another job if she’s so unhappy with helping customers and travelers. I rebuke budget for having an employee like this come on budget . You can hire more professional people

Terrible experience. Closes early, no night drop. Charged extra day PLUS a late fee for 15 min. Customer service even worse, yells at you and tells the customer they are wrong and it’s tough luck. Overcharged in every catagiry. Try another brand.

I have always had a wonderful experience with this location! They have been kind and professional with helping us with our rentals!! I only called to ask some questions and was met with such a rude, short tempered voice. I didn't get her name, but wow. She basically told me to go to the airport to pick up a car. I was trying to explain I had a certain request, wanted a 4 door luxury car - preferably a dark color. And this woman told me to go to the airport and was very rude in her delivery. Stay away from this place!

The lady operating the Lighthouse Point location was extremely controlling and unfriendly. She said I had to wait because I reserved my car only an hour ago, so she needed to let everyone who reserved before me to go first. As long as I can remember, a reservation is a reservation. First in line is served first. Enterprise down the road had way better service, I would absolutely recommend them unless you want to be screamed at.

Never give them your credit card info. Make sure you take photos and have receipts of gas filled up to make sure they don't make up many lies to charge extra. Never use AVIS if possible.

Their software would not read my Drivers License and apparently there is no way for it to be manually entered. The solution suggested was to drive all the way down to the airport and pick up a car at that location. Mind you, this is the same Drivers License that TSA let me onto a plane with so obviously not expired nor restricted. The solution offered by their agent over the phone for messing up my travel plans was simply a refund. I’ve never rented through Avis before and simply went with them because of the status given by one of my credit cards, but if this is how they treat customers, I will never be using them again
