After an absolutely awful experience at the Federal Hwy / Fort Lauderdale location, the Pompano Banfield turned it all around. They called my dog by the correct name, didn’t treat us like a number, acknowledged and addressed all of our concerns and took great care of our dog. ????

Cannon has been coming to this Banfield since 2021 and we love how well they take care of our little man. The team is very knowledgeable, they have helped us with many problems from detecting arthritis on our pet to help us with his behavior. They treat cannon however he feels more comfortable they keep him outside of the cage when he’s too nervous. And the morning drop-off is quite convenient for us they keep us in the loop with his treatments calling us or leaving voicemails, so we can know if there is another procedure or if he’s ready to come home. We love this place and if you are looking for a great vet near you, this place is just great

Called to make appointment. They asked me if I could drop him off I said absolutely NOT.. They said ok u can bring him and wait. When I got there it was a drop off apt. ..They told me this after I waited 30 minutes to be seen. Told me I could leave him after I specified I would not leave him. The inconvenience for this is unacceptable.

It is cheap insurance and I contracted it for my dog, the people are kind, the nurses are very good and affectionate with pets, but there is no option for an emergency! If you have an emergency they will send you to find another clinic, but for monthly check-ups it is a very good place.

My dog is DYING beacuse of the lack of care from this hospital. My dog got a clean bill of health from this location after brutal surgery on his leg, one bump was a mass cell tumor and they said they fully removed all the cancer. Less than 1 year later, i take my dog to a different vet for being very skinny and truns out he has tumors all over inside, he has lymphoma. I dont know why when i spent almos 2k at banfield they couldnt see that in his ultrasound but they told me my dog exceeds health on every level. Now my 7 year old dog has terminal cancer (4-8 weeks left) because it wasnt caught early enough. The literal worst location for a pet hospital do not go to this location do not recommend a 100% worst experience ever....maybe go here if you need to put your pet down but they will still over charge you

Horrible Customer Service. My dog was brought in for abdominal pain and X-rays were done. We were told we would have results in 24 hours. then 72 hours...it has now been a full week with no results and my dog is managing through pain meds. they answer the phone lost and confused almost every time. how hard is it to email an X-ray file?? Canceling my dogs wellness plan immediately. they treat their patients and customers about as poorly as a franchise could.

Please read all the reviews and they speak for themselves, their customer service experience is ZERO. They don’t even deserve the one star and don’t waste your time calling corporate cause it is even worse, please stay away from this place, the only way to work at banfield is if you have no manners whatsoever and their Dr’s are beyond terrible, the best way to describe them in one word is “RUDE” never been less than 25 minutes over the phone to take the call and downhill thereafter as they are always short staffed and hence they will treat you badly. Sad to be stuck with them until the plan ends please think it twice before signing for a plan with them as their service and Dr’s are really terrible!

If you really need help with your animal, don't go here. Only go here for shots and basic stuff. They are expensive, they will try to upsell you on testis you don't need that are overpriced. And the doctor doesn't explain everything to you or offer you options. The staff does their best but the doctor is terrible.

Brought my dog in for anal gland expression. I could hear her screaming from the back room as they were doing it. $37 but it needs to be done. Less than 2 weeks later she is scooting again and I can smell that it needs to be done again. I call them and ask to bring her back in maybe they didn't get it all. I asked if there would be another charge. I don't know the manager isn't here I will get back to you. That was 4 days ago. For the health of my dog, I took her to my real vet. They checked her for injury after I explained her screaming in pain and they advised that one side was empty, but the other was full. So they expressed what Banfield did not. No screaming involved. Cost: $18. Stay away from Banfield for anal gland expression.

Just left Banfield. We went in there to purchase another flea and tick medicine, because they only give you one at a time. However, this time we left empty handed because they said I had to pay for a whole "pet visit" as well, in order to buy the 1 pill. So the bill would have been just about $100 for a 1 month supply of the medicine that they said needs to be given at the same time every month. I can't order it online as it won't get here in time. They are putting my dogs health at risk because they want $60 extra dollars for absolutely nothing. We'll be going to a different vet from now on.

I was served with great care and attention by the girls at the reception and not just by her but by everyone in the store. Always giving me attention and asking if I needed anything. Whenever I take my dog there I feel happy and satisfied and my dog too because I feel that he is treated as he deserves!!Doctor Carlos Lancheros is an excellent veterinarian, he looked at everything I needed for my dog and gave me a lot of security, his service was very attentive and I felt safe with him. I recommend this doctor and his team to everyone

Perfect! Super friendly personal! The cashier answer all my questions and help me to make my next appointment very quickly. The doctor and the whole personal is very friendly and professional. Im super happy to find a new vet for my baby now that I moved to Pompano. Thank you so much for being so nice with me and my Golden Retriever Bunny
