We are big lots shoppers. I was sure I'd done a review of this particular store because it's one of three that we frequent. They have all sorts of discounted items and over the years we've bought everything from Christmas gifts to blinds... cosmetics to cleaning supplies. I suppose the items we buy the most are food -- canned and packaged items -- and health products -- toothpaste and deodorant, etc etc. They carry some name brands and some in store brands. It's always fun to try a limited release item or something they tested in a market that didn't sell there. So they have a few unusual flavors... But they also have all the basics and standards -- things that are pretty much the same from brand to brand. The other plus here is that they offer regular discounts as well as veterans discounts. And when they're running their sales, these savings can add up to something substantial.
