Crystal Lake Animal Hospital staff and doctors are very professional. They took extra care of me and my only son Rookie (my dog) during his last day on earth. Everyone there was very patient/caring with me. I want to say thank you so much for everything.

My dog Ronnie loves his doctor and his assistants.They took good care of my dog after it ate a rubber ball. They brought him back to health. I am very happy with the service. My dog recovered very quickly after the surgery.

Horrible Money Grabbing Vet!! Spent $3,000 and my cat just had a virus. Kept doing procedures and not even discussing with me why he was doing the procedure or the cost. Even insisted my cat had flees when my cats never goes outside. I said I have never seen a flea on my cat and he argued he saw one. Paid Around $45 for flea meds, got home and checked for fleas. NONE. To this day I never used the flea meds. Would not take the flea meds back. TOTAL rip off.

This is the best Veterinarian practice I have ever had! Doc is the most kind and honest person plus all the staff are really nice and accommodating. They were really patient with my old pit dog being a baby about his claws and they went ABOVE AND BEYOND when it came to urgent surgery to save my puppy. Prices are more than fair as well. I am so happy I found this place and I will never switch.

Horrible. I just spent amount $500 with a allergies on my puppy and they didn’t fixed the problem. They are all about money and extra medication. Don’t bring your pet here.

The staff and doctor were amazing. They are extremely friendly and beyond knowledgeable from any other vet I’ve ever gone to. Unfortunately I found out about this hospital way too late in my dog’s health, it was his first and last visit. They gave me one reasonable charge to have my dog properly diagnosed and I was mind blown by the authenticity and the amount of expertise the doctor explained and even showed. Unfortunately my dog passed away before his euthanasia appointment. My god I wish I had taken him to this location. I was on the hunt for such an knowledgeable and passionate vet.Took me 5 vets before I found you guys, but thank you for giving me closure on my dog’s condition.

Very professional but friendly staff. They answer the call without putting you on hold. Get you in either that day or within a few days. And they usually give you a little gift.

Love this place. Aly and the rest of the staff really care about your pet and offer amazing service. Dr. Melgey is one of the best veterinarians I have met. I met him through the SNIP program and realize how good of a vet he was and have been coming to him ever since. The office staff are amazing and accommodating. I would recommend Crystal Lake Animal Hospital to all.

Hookworm medicine (Panacur) $68.00Same medicine on Amazon $19.00Do your research before you spend your money. This was for 1 treatment for 1 dog and I have 5 dogs total. I saved a lot of money to treat the rest of my dogs.
