This business operates dishonestly and does not follow the proper procedures. If you need repairs for a vehicle that requires a rebuilt inspection, I do not recommend taking it here. They fail to follow the basic FLHSMV requirements for rebuilt inspections. One of these requirements is that when major components parts are replaced, there must be a receipt for those parts. This shop does not provide receipts for the major components used to repair your vehicle. For your own protection, take your salvage rebuildable vehicle somewhere else and before you repair another vehicle that requires a rebuilt inspection, call FLHSMV and have them explain the requirements to you. They’re simple and straightforward — there’s no excuse for not knowing them by now.

Gaston at GTO Auto Repair is hands down one of the best in the business. He’s incredibly knowledgeable about all types of car repairs and always takes the time to explain what’s needed and why. You can tell right away that he takes pride in his work and truly cares about his customers.
His prices are more than fair, and the quality of service is top-notch. Every job he’s done for me has been honest, efficient, and guaranteed — I never have to worry about hidden costs or poor workmanship. It’s rare to find a mechanic you can completely trust, but Gaston is that guy. Highly recommend GTO Auto Repair to anyone looking for reliable, honest, and professional car service!

Gaston is the only person I'll bring my cars to. I have had a Saab, a Volvo and a Hyundai and he has consistently kept them on the road, safe and never charged for a service that was unnecessary he sent me to the dealership for a warranty covered engine replacement that he could have done but knew that it would save me a fortune. I've also had other places tell me I needed work brought the car to him only to find out that that work didn't need doing and it was often something much more manageable. Always fairly priced. Like I said, I don't trust anybody else.

Repairs made April 10th, 2024, lasted only till September 20th, 2024
No assistance was offered, and I was informed I would have to travel over a thousand miles to even begin the reimbursement process.
I can not recommend this place less

I took my 2016 Nissan Rogue to GTO when I had an issue with my check engine light, AC, and sensor. Gaston was very reliable and a skilled mechanic. His price is reasonable, too. I highly recommend him!!!
