The hotel had no hot water, I was not informed when checking in, the staff lying, manager hiding in his office and not taking on the issue. The isolation between rooms non existent can hear people talk and doors opening and closing. Breakfast would be ok if they did not run out of bread and beagles. The good part about the hotel is that it’s clean and looks like it was build not too long ago.

I stayed there on the week of 11/27/23. I killed at least a dozen roaches in the bathroom. When I checked out on that Friday, I reported my experience to the guy at the reception desk. As always at a hotel, the manager isn't on site until after checkout. I left my phone number with the statement that if he called then he cared about the incident...if not then....No call received. I honestly rarely stay anyplace that doesn't seem to have 3 or 4 things wrong, whether it be dirty room, bugs, worn out furniture, whatever. But in America we take it because we are a trashy country. We don't have high expectations for the outrageous rental prices because none of us care much about pretty much anything. My two cents.

The hotel itself is nice, and the rooms are nice as well....most of the staff are nice and helpful, but there are just a couple of staff members that I would consider to be "bad apples," and they need to be fired, including one woman who works at the front desk. She was rude, incompetent, and incapable of listening. She was completely incompetent and gave me a migraine. Because of her, I wasted a bunch of unnecessary time trying to get into the hotel room because there was an issue with the electronic lock on the room door. Thank goodness I finally had a woman manager come upstairs to fix the lock so I could get in the room. The woman manager was fantastic; she solved my problem in literally 15 seconds, and she deserves an A+ and a big fat Christmas bonus. She was super friendly and accommodating. But the lady working the front desk was utterly worthless. Get rid of her. Fire her. She is the reason I am giving this place 1 star. To the manager who assisted me, thank you, I appreciate your assistance.

The staff at this location are awesome. The hotel building is only a couple years old and is in very good condition. All areas are kept very clean, including the dining area during the complimentary breakfast. It is situated right on US-1 with plenty of free parking.

Rude night clerk and poor Management there are better options.I don't usually write about situations that happen, but this one was out of the ordinary. I am a corporate traveler who recently got back into the traveling routine. As usual, I chose to stay at a Hilton hotel, which has never had any problems until today. I had made reservations to stay at the Hampton Inn Fort Lauderdale Pompano Beach from the 14th of November to the 16th of November.When I arrived at the counter at 9:30 PM, the counter agent rudely explained to some guests that he could not change their room since the hotel was oversold. The guests explained that the carpets were wet and it was unhealthy to sleep in that room. The hotel attendant reluctantly told them he could do nothing and that they had to wait until tomorrow.When it was my turn, I asked him to please not put me in a room with wet carpets since, for health reasons, it is not convenient for me. He reluctantly told me we could check the room without saying a word, but this was the only thing there. It rains heavily, and water enters the air when it condenses and wets the carpet. When I got to the room, I noticed the wet carpet. I also told him I had requested a king-size bed, and the room he offered had two queen beds. I told him that, unfortunately, I couldn't stay here, and he blatantly and without any sense of customer service told me, "Don't stay here. You can go anywhere else, but there is no refund."In the same way, he closed the room, and while I was walking in the hallway, he told me that I had to leave the property because he would be canceling my reservation. I asked him to give me his name, and he informed me that he did not have to give his name to anyone. I then asked him to provide me with the room cancellation papers, and he said he didn't have to. I told him his behavior was unacceptable and that I would start recording him. He didn't say anything else but called the police to have me removed from the property.When the police arrived, he listened to the person at the counter's story, and upon hearing my story respectfully, he told me that he was very sorry but that, in this case, there was nothing he could do even though he understood that I was entirely right. I don't think Hilton has a policy of treating its customers poorly. This is a bad seed that needs to understand the value of a client, and when a client respectfully speaks to him, he must have the patience to listen. The person who accompanied him to the room did not apologize for this employee's arrogance.At this moment, I am asking Hilton management to provide me with a full refund of what I paid for reasons of breach of contract and customer satisfaction policy by trying to stay in a room that is not sanitary or clean. If the hotel Management overbooked the hotel, as I was told, there are several alternatives and more appropriate ways to handle a loyal customer.

Very new and modern with everything I needed for an overnight work trip. Room was contemporary, clean, and really brilliant on the basics!Plentiful free well lit parking welcomed me back at the end of the night, and all of my interactions with the staff were absolutely professional.Lots of lighting, a desk to work from, and numerous well placed, convenient plugs and USB charge ports came in super handy to recharge all my devices for the next day.Started the next day off with a hot shower with plenty of hot water and water pressure. The hotel breakfast area was clean and well laid out. It also had a lot of variety including make your own waffles.I'm super glad I chose Hampton Inn Ft. Lauderdale Pompano Beach and would definitely stay again next time I have to work in South Florida.

Such a wonderful and restful experience at this hotel. The staff was friendly at checkin. Entire building was fresh and clean. The room was spacious even with traveling with kids. And the beds were so comfy. I slept great.

Stayed here for one night while scuba diving in Pompano Beach. Accommodations very basic. Stains on the carpet. Bathroom not clean. HVAC worked. Breakfast was OK. What kept this from being a one star review was the staff. My dive boat was late. I got back to the hotel at 1 pm, which was my late check out limit. The staff graciously allowed me to shower and change in my room before I left- made a big difference in my visit. Now about that bathroom...

They gave me free cookies even though I wasn't staying there. They were moist and scrumptious and I really enjoyed gobbling them down.Food & drinks: So tasty cookies mmmmm

I absolutely adore Nadine who works at the front. I came in half crying from travel stress and this lady brightened my whole day with her smile and kind spirit. The hotel was super clean, the house keeping was hands down the best house keeping service I’ve ever received and I’ve stayed at many four and five star hotels. I had to do some laundry and there was an issue with the door and they were so prompt coming to help me that they made it there before I did- in less than a two minutes. I am just so impressed with all the nice people who work here and the great service I’ve received during my stay. Will definitely come back.

Worst hotel stay!! Front desk does not follow through on anything they say. The beds were the most uncomfortable I've ever slept on. Toilet plugged and TV kept messing up. I will never stay at a Hampton Inn

Decent place would recommend to a friend honestly, not too pricey and very nice rooms and roomy shower and comfortable beds and a decent hotel breakfast.Rooms: Clean, updated TVs nice view, very nice showers.
