We ordered a headlamp form headlights depot that an insurance company had figured from them on their estimate. The we installed the headlamp with out any issues. A few months later our customer came back upset that the new head lamp had condensation inside the light. The light had a faulty seal and failed. We contacted headlights depot and they had us jump through several hoops to return the light, but they did credit our account for the price of the headlamp, but they refused to pay the labor to replace the light. Our tech had to remove the bumper to replace the light, so he had over an hour labor time in replacing the light. Of course we paid our tech to do this, but when we asked the rep at headlights depot about covering the labor, they said - " We do not cover any expense associated to labor. We offer competitive pricing, free shipping and hassle-free returns. If you have any questions, please let us know."All of this means nothing if the part is defective and we have to eat the labor involved. I just want everyone to be aware of this if or when buying lights from this company. We have had issues like this with other aftermarket headlight suppliers, but they have always paid for the labor to replace the light. Beware, headlights depot does not pay any labor involved, so in our eyes, they do not totally stand behind the products that they sell. This is one of many reasons we do not like using aftermarket parts from companies like this.

Headlights Depot was a little higher priced than other vendors, so I assumed the headlights were American made, but they are made in Taiwan. The headlight physically fit and looks nice however I had probelems with the connectors. The wiring harness connectors did not want to snap in place on the replacement headlights, so I ended up silicon gluing the wiring connectros to new headlights.

The original reason for the taillight assembly purchase is due to condensation inside the current lens. Having said that, I figured I may as well use the new harness. However, the new updated bulb base mounts had more of a wing- nut style to them compared with the stock solid square twist turn mount. I really struggled until I realized that 1 side of the wing nut on the new harness was interfering with proper placement on the push tabs into the body. I attempted a quick modification, but the base cracked and therefore I ended up using the stock harness. Frustrating, but working nonetheless. The perforated wiring jacket was also a larger diameter than stock.Also, less than 24 hours on the conversion, 1 of the bulbs that came in the kit quit working. So...I pulled the taillight off and replaced all the bulbs with new.Everything is working fine now, but it was quite the hassle to get it back to working condition.5/5 on the lens itself.2/5 on the other equipment that comes in the assembly kit.
