Emma Lou Olson Civic Center (Pompano Beach Civic Center) has been recently renovated with a more modern approach to the previous outdated finishes. There is newer furniture located in the lobby area. I have attended two separate events at this civic center, with the most recent being yesterday. The facility is spacious which includes indoor and outdoor spaces. The inside of the building was clean and accommodated approximately a couple hundred people at this specific event. There is a beautiful oak tree on the front of the property. I did not have an opportunity to explore the entire property, just the inside of the venue and the outside area in front of the entrance.

I belong to a local model club and we held our annual event this year at the Emma Lou Olson Civic Center. The facility was very well illuminated, had plenty of parking, and the staff along with the coordinator Melanie Heminger were absolutely fantastic. We have booked our event for next year with the facility and cant say enough nice things about everyone who helped us make it our best show to date. Butch , Flight19 IPMS Chapter Region 11

Don’t waste your money! If you want jerky and cheap jewelry this is for you. I try to support Gun Shows as an NRA member but I still think the WPB show is still the largest and the best. Also, the guy checking guns at the front desk, with his little badge and gun on his hip should drop 50 pounds and try to become a real cop!
