Horrible customer service cashier didn't want to help me with the price

Went to return 4 Arizona t-shirts I washed one twice and the whole collar is fuzzing up I have 5-year-old shirts that don't do this I've never returned a T-shirt in my life and they told me since I washed it they can't return it but before that the supervisor on Sunday 03/02/25 told me they don't make the shirts. After she said something else I figured that she's just trying to agitate me so before I left she told me in a sarcastic way to have a blessed day. More or less JCPenney sold me garbage they stole $40 from me I'm not worried about the $40 but I will guarantee you I will never go to that store at least for this year and I'll tell my family and friends to do the same. They gave me the manager's name if anybody else needs it I'm not calling I can't waste anymore time on this ,the best way to show uour not happy is just don't give them business. Unfortunately I get my boxer and my t-shirts from there and my jeans but oh well and I also get my jewelry there but I'll just go to Macy's. But unfortunately Macy's doesn't sell Stafford but I will work it out.

Today I attempted to return a pair of jeans with my receipt that clearly stated the return or exchange could be made within 90 days for the full amount. The people they have working at their registers could not look at the receipt and would only repeatedly tell me the return policy was 60 days. They turned my very easy return into a nightmare that took over 30 minutes and the store manager could not be bothered to come in assist. No wonder there are no customers in the store no wonder JCPenney‘s is failing. They need to hire some people that have some decent customer service skills also ones that don’t talk to the customer like they are a criminal. and because I loudly told them I do not need to hear their 60 day return policy again. The receipt was tossed at me and they walked away stating they don’t get paid enough to put up with me then they said goddamn and then they told me I could go F myself as they walked away. There were 5 employees all standing around egging it in too.

Ordered a expensive piece of jewelry - purchased the additional protection plan and was told that this plan would take care of any problems that came up. Had a problem with our jewelry purchase - went to the Pompano Beach store - was told my the sales clerk at the Jewelry Manager would be informed of the problem - and would bet in touch with us - that was three weeks ago. Have not heard a word from our sales clerk or the manager of the jewelry department.

Worst management of all JC Penney company. JC Penny is selling used cosmetics!!
The store is always empty for a reason, from the cosmetic counter to the main office all uneducated employees.
I purchased a mascara that obviously was refilled or altered with a ruining liquid by the store employees. The mascara bottle came with no packaging at all. I went back to Pompano JC Penny, where an older black woman from the cosmetic counter started to fight me, all I said was the mascara was filled with an unsual liquid and I needed the credit for other items. The black woman refused to listen and start to scream, then I asked for a manager. The manager came, and she still refused to provide the credit and BS for over 20 min. I was about to purchase over $200, but the ignorance of JC Penny employees and selling used cosmetic won't even look at their sign.

Was going to buy 2 marked down men’s shirts at the Pompano Beach location. Waited for 5 minutes at the jewelry counter because I couldn’t find another open cashier. After the person in front of me completed her purchase I asked an older Asian cashier behind the jewelry counter if she could ring up my 2 shirts. She rudely replied that I needed to go somewhere else because she only rings up items in the jewelry department. I asked her where another cashier was open and she said to go to the cosmetics department. I asked her to please page someone because I didn’t see anyone there which is why I went to the jewelry department. When I walked over to the cosmetics department an older African American woman said one of my shirts didn’t have a tag and that I had to walk back to the customer service department to get her a price??I asked her to please page someone but she insisted I walk back to customer service despite the fact that I am obviously wearing a back and leg brace and using a cane!! This is POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE and obviously both these cashiers are extremely lazy and need retrained in customer service!! I tried to call the store to speak to the store manager but couldn’t get anyone to answer! I would like the store manager to contact me to explain why his/her employees can’t simply page another clerk to check a price (or check themselves). I’m not looking for anything free, I just would like the store manager to know his/her employees are so POORLY TRAINED!!

Horrible place to buy. I purchased a par of pants and those were damaged from manufacturing. I did not know. I purchased that way.
I show to the cashier the manufacturer different cuts of the material and I let her know the problem. No one says that the store do not credit the items if past 60 days. But this is an exception to the rule because again the merchandise damage from the manufacturer
I have my receipt and the cashier start shutting me down because I was letting her know that it is not acceptable that I have not option to return, not option to exchange or to get store credit. I have a receipt and the product was defected from the manufacturer. She was a complete absurd person and imperative. No customer service at all.
I requested for the manager and the manager was in vacation.

The customer service is nonexistent at this store. Went to register towards back of store and was empty so I saw a worker in that area and she informed me I had to go to the front register. So we walk to the front register and same scenario it’s empty without any associates around. So after waiting about 5-10 minutes without any assistance we walk to the jewelry counter where there were 3 associates behind the counter and I asked them where do I pay and I was told to go to register in back of store But I stated that was where I went first and was directed to go to front of store. I then received no response as All 3 associates continued their conversation amongst themselves and ignored us standing there so I put down the items right there that we were trying to purchase and walked out . Customers shouldn’t have to walk around a store and beg employees to help them purchase merchandise.

I give the store 3 stars. . Because no one was nice or helpful. Until I met Lisa at the register.
She was so nice and polite and helped with slippers that some told us you didn’t have.
So I give Lisa 10 stars!!
