We we looking for a casual but good dinner. We found LA Forketta on Google maps. It looked inviting and we love Italian food. My Rossini was wonderful, the bread was delicious. I've never had better orechette with sausage and broccoli, and my dinner companions loved their chicken parm and veal parm. Not to mention the pistachio cake and cheesecake, which were also wonderful. I'll definitely go back when I'm in Pompano again.

The food was absolutely delicious, the bread was amazing. I ordered a pizza, and I really loved the crispy crust and the flavorful sauce. I'll be back soon.

Did not stay. Was asked if had reservations and said no. Then I was told to sit at the table in the entrance. A 4 some came in, stated did not have reservations, BUT was taken in and seated. Rude attitude of hostess. Left.

Personal review of La Forketta Restaurant, 1255 S Powerline Rd, Pompano Beach, FL 33069. February 27, 2024. Overall we had a great experience at this quaint, very authentic and healthy, delicious Italian food restaurant for lunch at very reasonable prices for Lunch Specials menu.I had the Lunch Special Salmon Grilled with Salad at $12.00, and my partner had Chicken Grilled with Broccoli garlic and oil for $12.00. We both loved our meals. Very great. My very well done salmon came piping hot with a huge lemon part. The salad was a yummy mixture of sliced tomatoes and a spring mix type of salad. I don’t know if they put a dressing on it but I was not concerned because they already had on the table olive oil, balsamic vinegar, pepper, salt, grated parmesan cheese that I did add to my salad. Yummy!!!They also brought us free bread with butter. My partner was recommended this local Italian restaurant called La Forketta from a friend. So I asked to go there today for lunch as they are open 12 to 3 and also from 5PM to 9PM daily. They are located in the IHOP corner shopping mall NW of Gateway Drive and Powerline in Pompano Beach, Florida. We ventured in and were told to sit wherever we wanted. Soon our server Sue greeted us and brought us free fresh bread, with butter in a tiny cupcake paper type of holder. She also brought us fresh water and poured it into our glasses and she left a decanter half filled with water left on our table. So classy.Overall a superb experience of great healthy food, prices, nice people and a cozy environment.

The food was really good, the problem is that an ITALIAN Ristorante CAN'T lack of Italian wines in its menu!!!I ordered a Pinot Noir and NOT ONLY they had A FRENCH ONE in its menu, but also THEY DID NOT HAVE IT available.Half a nice experience. Thanks, anyways.

Another customer had their dog at the table with its paws up. It's hooked almost an hour to get our food. We got chicken farm and lobster spaghetti.

Do not go if the place is busy or during any holidays. I have been waiting 1 hora for an orderPlaced online that was supposed to be ready at certain time. I completely understand that is a busy season but we all are clients and orders needs to be despatch at the time as arrived. In the hour I was there 3 different group of people arrived, ate and left and I was waiting and waiting. Also, the worse customer service the lady who was in there answered in a very bad way and she said that customers in table have the priority. So, unfortunately the food could be good but when you have a very bad customer service and you don’t care about the clients you simply lost everything

Servers were rude. Had to ask for a high chair twice. Had to ask for bread 3 times. Bread was room temp, should be warmed. Ordered Pino Noir, they brought Pinot Grigio but fixed it reluctantly. The calamari was clearly frozen rings no tentacles, chewy not salted, no flavor. My wife got the carbonara it was cold. I ordered the Veal Parm it was serviceable. Heavy garlic on the red sauce which I like but a little much.RE: I did not order pizza you must have me confused with another disgruntled customer. Odd response to make excuses for rude service and improper seasoning.

An Italian gem snuggled in Pompano on Powerline. Enter a slice of Italy with checkered tables and rustic atmosphere. The lunch specials rotate daily and include a wide variety fish, veal, pork, chicken and pasta. Max the chef is very accommodating. The wait staff is attentive. Lunch has become a routine pilgrimage for excellent Italian cuisine.
