After 15 years I decided to empty my storage space after being lied to and ripped off by the new manager of Space Shop Self Storage, Pompano Beach. The new manager is rude, aggressive and has an all over bad business practice. I would never rent there, ever again! Go anywhere else! Her name is Kristine or something with a K. Run!!!!!

I am editing My review which was a five star review because the place was purchased three months ago from another company. The previous company was an amazing company. It was very friendly and personal. They need my name. They were very kind and helpful. They were bought out by a corporate run company That has been a nightmare. The manager there is rude unhelpful and downright useless. Place is filthy now no one is there to talk to or help with problems homeless people stay there after hours. You can’t get a hold of anybody in the corporate office, but this location specifically is a nightmare. I ended up in the hospital. Am behind and my unit is locked. They will not work with me to make a payment plan and all of my belongings will be auctioned off and lost. I do not suggest this place.

This Storage company is the worst, they overcharge you when you’re not looking and then they charge you early to get extra fees stay away find another storage company because this one won’t last long on how it treats its customers.

They have rodents. They will eat up your things and climb into your boxes. We had to take a box outside and dump it and a rodent came out.

While the office staff is great, this is not a secure facility. Multiple units including mine were broken into. People are living there against the rules. No cameras monitoring the storage units themselves. Look elsewhere. NOT SECURE STORAGE!

Mark went above and beyond to help me. Out in the pouring rain he walked to help me see the unit and find the fit. My plans abruptly changed and he was very accommodating. Much appreciated excellent customer service.
