I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the ice machine (model number 5729388, 33 lbs) I purchased on January 23rd, 2025. Less than a month after purchase, the machine malfunctioned.
Following the instructions in the owner's manual, I attempted to contact the manufacturer on February 3rd, 2025. After several unsuccessful attempts to reach them by phone, I sent a text message providing a video demonstrating the malfunction, along with my order number and purchase receipt.
The manufacturer responded on February 28th, 2025, promising a full refund while allowing me to retain the defective unit. However, on March 5th, 2025, their position changed. They instructed me to pursue the refund through Lowe's, where the machine was originally purchased, citing their involvement in the transaction.
I subsequently contacted Lowe's, but they were unable to assist without a Return Authorization (RA) number. This leaves me with a non-functional ice machine and no resolution to the refund.
I request your immediate intervention to facilitate a prompt and complete refund for the defective ice machine. I look forward to your swift response and a resolution to this matter.

A few Sundays ago, my wife went to shop for a refrigerator, we did our homework online, so we knew what model we needed to get, but wanted to ask the person in appliances about depth and more importantly hook up and delivery process. Well, we waited for 45 minutes, Duane from the mower department noticed we needed help and he came to check us out. He was a rock star, but knew nothing about the refrigerators. There were two other customers waiting the same time we did. One of whom went and grabbed the manager, and was very rude and vocal about the lack of professionalism at this store. So, the appliance guy was on lunch break I guess, it happens. But you'd think the manager would know all the things needed with the items we are purchasing, or maybe the website would say you need this or that. We purchased the refrigerator, and when it was delivered, the delivery guys say they can't install because they don't touch copper wiring. I think the issue is, they don't want to shut the water off, I'm sure it's a liability. But NO WHERE was this discussed during the procedure of purchasing. We were told by a customer service lady that we need to hire a plumber to come add the adapter for us so they can do their job. NOT ONLY is this a hidden cost, but I wasted just under 2 hours at the store ordering the refrigerator, and on top of that, took the morning off of work, which I'm not sure how much you make per hour, but I don't have time for this. I wouldn't be as upset if this was delivered on a Saturday when I'm off of work, but this was the day they could give me, atleast it was a four hour window they could provide, so I only lost my morning. In the end, I have to take another day off of work to get a plumber here, and then another day for them to come back and deliver the refrigerator. In the end, LOWES policy needs to have this stated when ordering such appliance, if they come to install, then they should be able to handle the full install. WHAT A JOKE.
Other than mulch, this will be the last purchase with this company. Too bad too, because I love and use all mowing products they have, battery operated. This company will lose thousands just from my family alone.
Other than Duane, this experience was worse than a root canal. I will try to return the refrigerator and cancel the order because of the hassle. I'm guessing the management needs to follow thru, there were three of us there, spent over 5K in 15 minute timeframe, I'm betting that the other customers found out about the copper line the hard way as well. THIS IS A COMMON THING, SO BUYER BEWARE!

Cashier at garden area named Kay has no work ethic and customer service skills, she treated me like Lowe’s doesn’t need customers. Her printer ran out of paper, she was talking a English that no one understands, and turned out that her printer didn’t print my receipt, and on her response she blamed me, the customer, I told her I need the receipt for business purpose, she replied this will take a while, the cashier next to het asked if she wanted to take her paper roll to print my receipt, when printed, she threw it over the counter top and walked away, not a even a world. Store of Coconut Creek is an example of great customer service, pompano one is an example of how not to treat a customer! Zero stars if I could.

This location used to be great. The staff were knowledgeable and you could check out easily. Now this location seems to be severely understaffed. I literally had to walk all the way from plumbing to the garden section to find an employee. In addition to this most of the times I have been there recently there are only self checkouts available. Wich is an issue when the machines constantly need employee authorization. The lines have been much longer since they removed most of the cashiers.
I don't think it's the employees on the floor that are at fault for how genuinely difficult it now is to shop here. It is whoever is deciding to have so few employees on the floor that is to blame.

2 stars so hopefully this review gets seen. Don’t waste your time and money and mental health shopping here. Want curbside delivery after 6pm? LOL a joke forget about it, unless you want to wait an hour and a half to curbside pickup a vanity that was ready is ABSURD. Having to abandon curbside and pester employees is ridiculous. Want to order a toilet to get delivered to be easier? LOL a joke forget about it, Lowe’s will send the driver on the busiest day ever delay the delivery to a ridiculous hour, and good luck getting it. Want to ask customer service for help? LOL good LUCK. Lowes have ZERO cybersecurity and customer service can view your cc and info OH AND YOULL GET FRAD CHARGES. I used to love this store, now it’s overrun by completely useless, lazy, employees who don’t care about customers.

I have to write this review in polite terms so that it gets published—otherwise, it would consist of just one sentence.
I placed an online order, and the item was listed as in stock at the store. Waited an hour and a half, but they couldn’t find it. The staff showed no interest in helping customers. I then decided to buy the thermostats directly at the register—22 units were listed as available in their system, yet after another 30 minutes of searching, they couldn’t find a single one.
A complete waste of time and a total lack of organization. In the end, I went to the “orange store” and bought everything without any issues. I do not recommend this store if you value your time.

Your return policy sucks and I will never shop at your store or any Lowe’s for that matter again. Just because I bought a seasonal Christmas item that was the wrong item they refuse to return it after Christmas. Trust me., this company is the next to fail!! Terrible customer service. You’re dead to me!!

Lowes is a great place to pick up bulk cleaning items. Had lots of sales after Christmas. The store is always organized. Picked out some flowers as well, which they had a great variety.

Do not trust the sales associate when they tell you a product is in stock and installation will be in a few days. I spent almost $500 on an over the range microwave they said was in stock and now my order says it's on back order with no idea how long it will be and once I told them my issue they will not answer the phone. DO NOT use them!

Service bad. Can’t return things at certain stores because they have a bad code system and never find anyone that knows anything if you find them. Also most these companies don’t care about service that’s why they got self check out and it’s bad system

The service at this Lowe’s is terrible. No one is willing to help with anything, and it’s incredibly frustrating trying to get assistance from the staff. The only person who was helpful during our visit was Steve from the paint department. He went above and beyond to assist us, but unfortunately, the rest of the store’s staff does not reflect the same level of service. I cannot recommend this Lowe’s to anyone. Save yourself the trouble and visit a different location.

The Handy Haven: Lowe's in Pompano
Lowe's in Pompano is a haven for DIY enthusiasts and professional builders alike. Nestled near the city center, this hardware giant offers a vast selection of tools and materials for every project imaginable. From the weekend warrior fixing a leaky faucet to the contractor sourcing materials for a major build, Lowe's has it all.
One of the most appealing aspects of Lowe's is the sheer size of the store. Aisles upon aisles of hardware treasures await, ensuring that you can find exactly what you need. Whether it's a specific type of screw or the latest in smart home technology, chances are, Lowe's stocks it.
However, with great size comes great responsibility, and sometimes, the challenge at Lowe's is finding a staff member to assist with queries. But don't let that deter you; the self-service approach can be quite satisfying. Plus, the ample parking space means that even on the busiest of days, you can shop at your leisure without the hassle of finding a spot for your car.
So, the next time you're gearing up for a home improvement adventure, remember that Lowe's in Pompano is your one-stop shop for all things hardware. Just be prepared to embrace the DIY spirit fully, and you'll leave with not just the tools, but also the satisfaction of self-reliance. Happy building!

Their employees are friendly and helpful!
They usually have what I need in stock unlike the home Depot nearby.
