Bad management.
I’d asked for their attention when one of their self service printer wasn’t printing my document correctly, the manager shrugged it off saying that’s how it is.

I had a very disappointing experience when I called the Restaurant Depot in Pompano Beach on December 16, 2024, at 2:10 PM regarding their membership application. I was seeking clarification on whether I could obtain a membership card without having a business, as the online application wouldn't let me proceed without entering business information.
The person who answered my call was incredibly rude and unprofessional. He responded to my inquiry with an attitude, saying, "Aight bro," before abruptly hanging up on me. I have never encountered such disrespectful customer service in my life. It felt as though he treated me like a nuisance rather than a customer seeking help.
This level of service is unacceptable, and I believe this employee needs to be addressed. I would give zero stars if I could, but since I have to select one, that's what I will do. I hope management takes this feedback seriously.

Terrible customer service. I had "bought" a printer at a Office Depot 6 miles down the road. The original purchase was not on site so they ordered it an had it shipped to our home. Upon arrival the printer was not what we needed, I brought it back to Office Depot in Pompano Beach and after several minutes was told by the manager I needed to return it at the store I bought it. I explained I did not 'buy' it at a store, the Ft Lauderdale store ordered it online and shipped it to me. The Pompano manager stated 'sorry, you need to go back there'. It was 30 minutes away. You can imagine what happened when I drove to Ft Lauderdale and told them what happened, yup, the Ft Lauderdale manager stated 'they could have done the return at Pompano, you have all the paperwork including the online order number'. In the end i was going to buy a different printer, that is getting done, however it is being bought at Best Buy or Wal-Mart. It was a simple return and they lost a customer for life.

Laurence is a horrible manager. My wife went in with all of the teachers from Park Ridge elementary and bought thousands of dollars in supplies. My wife who is a teacher was given the wrong ink by the Office Depot employees. She did not realize this until I tried to install it as she is not tech savvy. We went back to the store and the manager Laurence, who shouldn't be managing a box of rocks, said that there was a security sticker inside the box which he claimed they don't use otherwise he would have gave my wife credit. I showed him the email where the principal of the school instructed the teachers to go shop there as proof my wife was there and so were all the employees who spent thousands of dollars and we have never bought the real Epson ink anywhere else, we always bought third party ink from Amazon so I really do not appreciate the aggravation this manager caused me and my wife.I will recommend to the principal not to return to Office Depot.

Smells like mold, it’s so bad. I’ve been there a few times over the past few months. It’s horrible. Not going back. They clearly aren’t fixing it.

DO NOT USE THIS STORE !!! I arrived at 6:01 they only had 1 of 2 printers working with 10 people in line and if you wanted full service it would be roughly 7x the amount of 1 copy. I sent an email to their full service printer at 6:04 another at 6:15 and another at 6:29. I was told to get on their open wifi(no thank you) or go outside and send again which I did at 6:29. I finally gave up at 6:38 because they hadn't received my file and i drove 5 miles to staples and I was out in 5 min. Braden and Carisma were very helpful but officemax clearly doesn't care. I was there Saturday and all of their self service were printers were down so I had to pay $3.26 for a copy that costs .20 cents. Can you say highway robbery. Shame on you officemax

Not very accommodating. Disorganized, smelled of mold (using air freshener to cover it up). Dirty. Cashier at first was nice and pleasant, but had to call Manager for assistance who was rude, condescending and hostile.

I've been visiting the Office Depot located in the city of Pompano Beach for some time. I highly recommend Andrea from the Pompano Beach store #19 to experience a welcome-home authentic service. She's knowledgeable with the items inside the store and is willing to explain the options to recommend based on your preference that is beneficial for the type of need of supplies for office or school. She's also detailed oriented makes sure you have all your items according to the occasion and will go the extra mile to find the items your seeking, instead of stating directions to go on a scavenger hunt. Andrea in addition, is a person of caliber by providing great customer service and building the trust with their clients. She's honest and will help answer any questions or concerns and will resolve the matter with their best interest, treating their customers as very important people (VIP). Thank you Office Depot for hiring an excellent staff at the Pompano Beach branch store # 19 location!!!
