Never in my life have I been treated as poorly as Personal Physician Care has treated me. I called to refill my albuterol inhaler for asthma which I have suffered from my entire life. Every single month I have to call and have the same prescription authorized after asking them to extend it multiple times, which they promised they would, but never did.
They say their hours are 8-5, but they close down and turn on the answering service every day around 4:20pm. When I finally got a hold of someone, she informed me that to continue receiving my inhaler, I need to visit the Dr every six months or they will refuse to fill it. I have suffered from asthma for over 25 years and never in my life has that been a requirement, asthma is not something that can be cured or treated with an office visit.
It’s very clear they want to collect copays as much as possible and do NOT care about their patients. I was told by Lisa that it’s MY fault I can’t get my prescription filled because I didn’t come in, when she was the first person to tell me this was required. I asked for documentation on the policy, which she couldn’t provide.
Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else, this place values money over people and treats you like a number. I’ve spent over 2 hours each month trying to coordinate a refill of a simple asthma inhaler. Never in my life have I been so disrespected by supposed “professionals” I will be filing a complaint with the BBB and Florida State Health Department on this matter.

I call to review my labwork because it appeared to be a mistake or inaccuracy and for the few minutes to call and discuss this I was charged a consult and sent a bill. As a courtesy to a repeat patient if the call is a simple "hey what's up w this, could it be inaccurate?" I would not expect a full on consultation bill.

Horrible doctors office. Beyond rude and unhelpful. I have never in my life been to a doctor that try’s to force you to get something done that you don’t want. Then rejected giving me a medication that should be a basic women’s right. Sad that there’s doctors out there like this.

Every time I try to schedule an appt online I get a call that the appt I chose was unavailable and the doctor is booked for at least a couple of weeks. Secondly, they are always trying to push the appt to the nurse practitioner who we was once and did not like, he was arrogant and kept cutting us off when we would try and explain things. I’ll never go back! Never did meet the doctor, and the NP needs an attitude adjustment! Finally, never get phone calls with test results, EVER! I had to call them!

I just want to say that I was very impressed with Dr Sukenik. He makes you feel comfortable and at ease.He explains everything very throughly and easy to understand. The receptionist was very helpful and pleasant.They are a great asset for our community.

My experience was a wonderful one everyone from the physician down to the receptionist and both assistants. They were professional and courteous The staff is always very supportive, very professional, very patient and extremely kind They are extremely fast to attend no waiting in the lobby, very clean office, and very caring!

I’m new to the area and they took my insurance so I figured it was worth a try. I scheduled with the PA and he was very thorough and I never felt rushed. I had a lot of concerns and he discussed and addressed each one (I had been without insurance for a few months prior so they had piled up). The front office staff is also great which is a big deal because that can really hurt an office. I’ve only had one visit but so far I have nothing but great things to say.
