“Costco pharmacy itself is ok, a 8/10. The representative I dealt with both dropping off and picking up (same person) was the worst, I had to tie my tongue to restrain myself from arguing with her. Customer service was the worst! That rep needs to work in the back and not where she has to deal with customers. Not referring to the out of the box colored hair rep that's always there, she is ok. Overall, though, I would not give them 5 stars.”

“Like the previous poster, I have had great experiences at this pharmacy! So, I have been a customer of various Walgreens pharmacies for as long as I can remember. I have had nothing but absolutely horrible experiences with their pharmacies and really just thought that's how all pharmacies operate. I thought things at Walgreens could not get any worse. I was wrong, so very wrong.. i recently moved from Orlando to Fort Lauderdale and requested a transfer of my prescription for birth control to my new local Walgreens. They said that they could not refill the prescription because my doctor had written the prescription incorrectly, different from previous prescriptions. Say what? It was a refill. Once they got it sorted, then they said they were out of the birth control and it would take time to come in, a nationwide shortage. Say what? Then once it arrived, they said the manufacturer's coupon that I always use had expired. Say what? Needless to say, for one reason or another, I was off of birth control for three weeks! I called CVS and Target and even other Publix pharmacies and got other excuses as to why my prescription could not be filled. Fast forward to my calling this pharmacy and hearing the voice of an angel, "Publix Pharmacy, Technician Mark speaking." I explained my story to him, and I think he sensed my absolute frustration with the incompetence over at Walgreens. He told me immediately he had the drug in stock and asked me which Walgreens had my prescription and manufacturer coupon information. I told him. He said his computer found my insurance information; I did not have to give him any insurance information. my prescription was ready in a couple hours! Mark accomplished something in a couple hours that it had taken Walgreens three weeks and probably counting, I am pretty sure I would still be waiting on that prescription. Based on that amazing experience, I transferred all of my prescriptions to this pharmacy. I have always been so pleased with the customer service here. Pharmacist Gary is also super helpful and kind. He always greets me warmly and is happy to answer any questions I may have regarding the medication, possible side effects, etc. Gary and Mark should win an award for customer service excellence! Keep up the good work guys!”

“I moved into the Pompano Beach area from Northern Virginia. I have been using this Pharmacy for the past seven months. Sure, as we know Insurance companies now determine our medical care, so they can be a pain BUT I’ve been very pleased with the professional Pharmacist’s here. The two of them are very good. They both step in and try to find solutions when a problem arises. To me, in my opinion, anywhere can be great when there isn’t is not a problem, but the real proof of the quality and service is found when there IS a problem - how do they help resolve it. Both of these Pharmacist’s do everything to do right by their Clients! They work to use co-pay discount cards, they call and work with the insurance companies to resolve conflicts, and they reach out directly to your prescribing doctors to renew prescriptions when needed. They are a huge positive change from my prior Walmart pharmacy experience from Virginia. Two thumbs up Pompano Beach Walmart Pharmacist Team!”

I have seen people get medicine from different doctors and fill them at different pharmacies that are unaware of potential contraindications for those medications. All my medications are always filled at the same pharmacy and have never had any problems even though I take about 20 pills per day.”

“You're not a number here, you're a person. I've been using Pompano Pharmacy for 10 years. It's a small pharmacy but the nice thing is when you need to refill a prescription you get to talk to an actual person, they know who you are (if you're a regular) and they truly care about you. Sonny and Ms. Rose are most helpful in every way possible. It's truly a pharmacy of yester-year that my grandparents would frequent and I guess that's why I love it so much and drive out of my way to go there.”

“I would start by saying with a Dunkin’ Donuts slogan – America runs on Dunkin’ Donuts, I would say that Walgreen runs on Srabonti (pompano beach area)
I can say I had so many problems in Walgreens – and first of all that people who works their absolutely don’t care how long you wait, if you get helped, everybody rude like they came from hell and even the last time I said to myself that is it ! I will never step in the store again. I placed the order for big photos, posters, my order was marked as shipped, for two weeks, I didn’t get it. When I called over the phone, that lady couldn’t give me any status, said I had to go to the store where it’s coming from. I have to drive 10 miles to that store to find out what the heck is going on with my order.. that’s when I met Srabonti first time. She was trying to do her best, she printed my pictures, I spent about 40 minutes, trying to pull my pictures from my online profile, so some smart employee just marked my order as shipped, and they could give two craps about if I got it or not. In the reality order never was shipped. I was so mad and took all my anger on Srabonti that day. She was super nice though, apologized hundred times, but I know it’s not her, Walgreens system, culture in the store is absolutely awful. And there’s nothing you can do to change, unless you clone Srabonti. So that day she helped me with that order.

So on November 26, I needed to print couple big posters again. And I didn’t wanna wait from snap fish, as it taking at least a week, I needed it now. I took a shot. I placed the order and surely one hour after I placed the order I received the email. Sorry, your order is delayed. I cannot explain what a disappointment again I felt because in my heart, I knew it will never be printed again, as promised. Surprisingly, about 15 minutes later I received email that my order is ready for pick up. I come to the store, and guess who I see is there? Of course, my Girl. Srabonti. In my local store! What a chance? Only because she was there, I strongly believe that’s the only way my order was processed. She is never looking for excuse not to work. All the time I hear that the printer is not working, this and that. Only excuses, but she would always make it to work. Just a very hardworking person and very nice . So I really don’t know how Walgreens can fix this culture, my opinion it’s a little bit late, but look, for example, at Chick-fil-A franchise. Same thing, young ladies, and gentlemen working there. But they are super nice, nobody never rude. They just know how to hire right teenagers. Here – in Walgreens just the bottom from the bottom. And it’s everywhere like that, doesn’t matter which Walgreens I stopped by, it’s always nothing but rudeness, and nobody cares on working at all. Maybe you need to raise their salary is a little bit? Motivate them a little bit? I don’t know, but shopping in Walgreens is definitely not a pleasure”
