Review for Restaurant Depot – 1470 W Copans Rd, Pompano Beach, FL
I’ve visited this location many times over the years, but today I had a disappointing experience that I feel compelled to share. For the first time, my wife needed to use the restroom—and what she found was unacceptable for a business that supplies food to local restaurants.
The restroom was extremely dirty, poorly maintained, and unhygienic. Toilets were broken, and the overall condition showed a clear lack of upkeep. It’s hard to believe that a company of this size hasn’t addressed such a basic but critical issue. Clean restrooms are not just a courtesy—they are a health and safety standard, especially in a food-related environment.
It’s surprising that the health department hasn’t inspected this location recently. I strongly urge management to take immediate action: hire professional plumbers, improve sanitation protocols, and ensure the facilities meet the standards expected of a food supplier.
Restaurant Depot has the resources to do better. Cleanliness should never be optional—especially when serving the restaurant industry.

Parking is very complicated and takes a long time and poor treatment of truck drivers, very bad luck with this place because they are going to need it.

Twice went to ask for a Manager for Log in issues. Twice was told “managers are doing inventory , they are not here”. Restaurant depot should get back to the basics. “CUSTOMER comes first”.

Non members can shop at this wholesale warehouse store.
It sells bulk items and individual items. A very interesting experience that includes a large variety of frozen items, paper goods , fresh meat, vegetables and many other items.
Go in the main entrance and ask for a visitor pass and go shopping.

It's still a disaster, more than 4 managers in the store, only two cashiers, they don't know how to say hello, they think they're doing us a favor, there are no prices in the lines, they mark one and charge you another, a disaster, every time I come I have to go to the office for an executive to come out and make those lines walk, it's terrible, how I miss the one on 20

I went earlier today for the first time. I work for a popular restaurant chain and we needed a specific item that we ran out of - long story short, I asked 3 different people for help and each time I was pretty much ignored/completely brushed off. I went to the front desk to get some help of just pointing to where I could find a specific item, I was ignored even after verbally saying excuse me twice. I thought maybe they just didn’t hear me but they looked at me each time, they began to help other people that came in after me as well. It was just very hurtful being treated like I was invisible, I wish people could be kinder. The customer service is all around lacking here, hopefully this is a company that cares about its customers and provides them with better service in the future.

So I been coming to this location for the past year and some months, even tho I always find what I want the line to pay moves very slow, not necessarily for the cashiers fault but the same costumers that are not organized and distracted .aking everybody waste precious time but today Shelly went above and beyond making sure the line move smooth fast I was waiting on the front for the chef to finish shopping while observation the line is aw her step in guide costumers help out and literally caught my attention so much I had to walk to her to Thank her and ask her name.. employees like her should be priced and recognized

Very good resource for any businesses for food and food related products. Very diverse meat and seafood selection at good prices. There are locations around the US which is great. Not all stores carry the same items and some items become discontinued so just be aware of that.
